Updated MOV

The new tournament rules are out, and with that there are updated MOV numbers. The percentages are significantly different and I'm curious what everyone thinks about it.

Old numbers:

MOV | Percent of 300

0-20 | 0%

21-50 | 7%

51-90| 17%

91-150| 30.33%

151-220| 50.33%

221+| 73.67%

New Numbers

MOV| Percent of 400

0-29| 0%

30-69| 7.5%

70-129| 17.5%

130-210| 32.5%

220-349| 55%

350+| 87.5%

They all basically follow the same set percents with slight increases in the new numbers, but there are significant increases in 9-1 and 10-0 (4.67 points and 13.83 points)

Its MUCH harder to get a 10-0 now.

I lost 64 points of squadrons in my last match tabling a 2ISD +Rhymer8... that would have only been a 9-1.

Its an unusual move. But not one I mind that much. 10-0 should be harder.

+1 for figuring out all the math. Looks like FFG wants a 10-0 to be a rare experience, something that was really fought for. Good! 90% of this game is talking about all the fights you've had, defeats more often than not.

I like rare 10-0 Victories.

This means that you have to completely table an opponent at the same time as not losing a ship.

This also means a single TRC90's death will take away your 10-0 unless there are VPT's

100% agree on the tougher 10-0. I think it keeps people who've had a bad round in the fight through 3 rounds. Prevents dropouts?

I'm fine with the tougher 10-0.

Booyah! Play aggressive. Kill everything. Worry about the 10-0 after the fact because the odds of getting it aren't too great.
