Raymus Antilles Questions

By arrest7, in Star Wars: Armada Rules Questions

I know this is a simple question. But with Raymus Antilles does the token he give you immediately get spent with the corresponding action? For example, I have a typical Yavaris, Adar Tallon, and then I throw Raymus. I activate my Yavaris, it's a squadron command, Raymus gives me the token, does that immediately get spent to allow me to activate 3 squadrons? Or for example if I concentrate firepower would I gain a die in my dice pool and be able to reroll a die? Or do I receive the token after said command is finished?

It can be, but doesn't need to be.

Edit: so you reveal the command, and then immediately take a matching token.

First is repair/squadron. You already got the token, so you can spend one of the two, or both.

Later the Nav/Conc, but again, you already have the token so the same "one or both" apples.

You recieve the Token immediately. This makes it available to be spent along with that command, but there is no inherent requirement to.

Of course, if you already have command tokens equal to your command value, then yes, it may be a case of use it or lose it.

Awesome thanks guys! That makes him much better than I originally thought. Cause I originally misunderstood haha

He's an absolute boss. As an Imperial-only player let me tell you that Vader was absolutely right to choke him to death.

You cant have adar tallon and raymus on the same ship but otherwise what they ^ said.

I am surprised you did not quote the rule with an emphasis on the can part

Feeling very beat down at the moment. Too much effort to load up the pages to quote.

• A command token can be spent during the same round in which it was gained.
