Outpost Repairs

This situation occurred in our game this afternoon.

A Rebel MC80 has multiple damage cards and moves at speed 2 using a maneuver dial. After executing their maneuver they overlap the outpost and so are able to remove one damage card. However, they also have the Engine Techs upgrade and invoke it thereby executing a speed-1 maneuver, they fail to clear the outpost and overlap it again after executing this maneuver.

So, since it completed the execution of two maneuvers and both times overlapped the outpost can it remove two damage cards in one turn?

After reading all the relevant rules we could find, we decided that it could remove two damage cards. This did not affect the outcome of our game since the ship in question died the next turn anyway.

Yup you would get 2 repairs. Just like if you overlap an aestroid or debris and then engine techs I to it again you take the effect again.

The inverse is also true of obstacles that cause damage.

At the risk of being trounce for mentioning Speed 0, you can also park on the Station and get the hull point back every turn. Yes, I know about defense tokens being disabled at Speed 0. Just mentioning it.

I* did exactly this thing at my last tournament! It was pretty cool, then I immediately died.
