Has anyone seen in the Books a chart or Formula for Hiring Crew. The Group recently got a new ship and are looking to Hire some Experinced gunners

No such thing exists.

Closest you might find is a mercenary pay chart in Dangerous Covenants for the EotE line (it's the Hired Gun career book), but that's geared more towards what the PCs can expect to get paid for mercenary jobs.

Were I a force sensitive in your campaign, I think I would buy a droid and upgrade its gunnery rather than risk betrayal from a hired gun that might be tempted to collect on a bounty. The Empire pays for information that helps them capture criminal force users.

There is that nasty plot twist always available.

That's an excellent point, and definitely a fun one to consider. Not just for force sensitives, but any group that might have the bounty obligation too. You hire some unknown merc to watch your back... wake up in your bunk in binders and the new blood flying your ship directly to the nearest authorities.

I'll be filing that idea away for later.
