I'm sorry our community has done this to you. I kind of agreed with a lot of what you said. People get hurt around here when you complain about things because what you're saying is negative. The reasonable people on this forum had to deal with a bunch of this **** before the Phantom was nerfed, although none of it was with weaponized spoilers.

These people fighting against you that don't agree with you don't realize that if FFG listened to you the game would be less expensive for them overall, with no Imperial only players having to buy Starvipers just for Autothrusters or whatnot.

I say you stay here and continue complaining, just to spite everyone who disagrees with you. If you complain here without using euphemisms and a smarmy Alex Davy smile people get mad.

I wasn't standoffish at all. I conceded that I was wrong after a few hours, dropped the topic, and apologized in all three posts made over just a few hours.

@bo: The comments were made over a period of hours not days and none of my other posts except those three warranted any mistreatment. And by the comments here, clearly this is NOT a community of friendly and nice people as you so claim as there are clearly plenty that agree with the retaliation and have questionable morals and ethics. .

Nothing could ever rise to this sort of retaliation. I didn't attack that guy or anything. I disagreed with a business practice. I was 11 when I saw the first movie and to have someone ruin it. Hurting someone because you disagree with someone just proves why this is not a place for me. Time to grab my surf board and hit the waves and try to forget about this whole affair. Any type of person who would think it is ok is likely also the type of person who would not stop when a women clearly says NO because she "apparently led you on" or wantever you conceive as being an ok reason to justify bent ethics and corrupt morals. Maybe it was her short skirt...or she got too drunk...or ....you get the point. Frat boy ethics--too harsh as I am sure that is a small percentage of Frat boys we hear about...making the rest look bad, but you get my point. But clearly there is a small percentage of people without ethics here. Yes hive of scum and villainy. Ethics and morals don't have all these special caveats unless the situation is war or stuff very complex. You just don't treat people who disagree with you that way. Anyone thinking like that has bankrupt morals and vices that can't be appealed to here on an Internet forum. I made the anology because I feel violated and thank god my 12 year boy won't have it spoiled for him.

I lost all my Star Wars toys when my first wife was killed too young and my kid from my second wife would be playing with them right now if other person with questionable ethics didn't refuse me into my storage unit after being thirty days late with a payment. Even in grief, I got that payment out, but because it was either lost in the mail, or he lost it, I lost all my stuff. Despite appealing to his better angels, explaining my wife was killed from a drunk driver on Christmas Eve, he was I not phased and I had to sit there and bid on my own photos etc. Soinds to me like like a lot of people here would say the say thing, "sorry policy, is policy...read the sign dude." Well dudes, being a decent human being doesn't usually cost you much.

I have just skimmed over a few of his first posts in topics because each one was a novella lol. He seemed to not like that fix cards were in exenaive ships and that FFG broke certain ships just to sell fixes to them. Which is reasonable, although I don't think it's that way. Phantom autowins against swarm, next wave we get turrets that autowin against the phantom, and then we get autothrusters to deal with fat turrets. I don't think that's done intentionally but I can understand why someone would think that.

That was a significant part of my motive, yes. I allowed the hate to flow through me and gave in to my anger. My journey to the Dark Side is now complete. Still getting the hang of that Force Lightning, though. Very tricky.

Also, apologies to anyone that may have seen that spoiler as a result of Vatutin reposting it but I'll be honest. I'm not sorry I sent it to him. He's an obnoxious whiner and I have no sympathy for him.

Vatutin, don't compare this to ****. First off that's incredibly out of proportion and disrespectful to people who have actually suffered trauma like that. Secondly, don't make insist that you aren't equating me with a rapist right after you blatantly did just that (and right before you continue to act like deliberately spoiling a movie is evidence that I'm secretly the devil).

Also, if you would stop talking about leaving and actually just left the forum you wouldn't have this problem. If you're leaving, then leave. I think it's safe to say none of us will miss you.

While I think the PM you got was childish and spiteful, this is a great community filled with (for the most part) likeminded and friendly people.

For someone to do this to you means you should examine your Trollish behavior. Your own actions over the last few days brought this on, not some "character flaw"'of the community.

So long as you don't go counter to the circlejerk, this community is great. If you dare to be different, then the pack quickly turns on you. It's like people on here don't know how to disagree with someone without calling them names and insulting them.
