Hi all,

So I'm playing a new list tomorrow in a local store tournament and thought I'd share it. After the tourney I'll let you know how I did and where I messed up.. haha.

I'm running 4 shuttles!

All Omnicron Group Pilots

Each have one crew, Tactician, Tactician, Vader, and The Emperor himself.

99 points of no K turns, big fire arcs, and the worst dial in the game.

Personally I'd lose the Emperor - I'm just not convinced that there are sufficiently valuable single dice to justify his points cost in the list. In return put anti-pursuit lasers on at least 3 shuttles (maybe not Vader's) - it gives you a second method of causing damage, and may be your only hope once you've got a top ace on your tail.

Give yoursel some ion cannons, it will be useful against unhinged TLT Ywings or Mranda/Poe.

Here's the skinny, and yes I own 4 shuttles!

Game 1:

I played against Poe, Ello and a Blue Ace. Tough fight. Those little T-70's can move! My opponent who was a very nice fellow set up far left from me and went for a flanking maneuver. Poe was running the BB8, PTL trick which made him very slippery. This game went to time and I was rolling hot on green dice! Haha. I think I only failed one evade here. I barely managed to take out Poe and he got the doom shuttle. Taking out Poe was a bit lucky, I stripped his shields and landed a Palp crit for a direct hit. Got him back in arc way late game to take his last hull. Luckily my three surviving shuttles were all over half health. WIN - 40 to 24

Game 2:

This game I flew against a copy of Nathan Eide's list from Worlds this year. That's Poe, Horn and a PS1 A. In this fight he overextended and got his A-Wing way out front. Horn was behind the A and Poe went for a flank. I brought my shuttles around for a hard flank/push to keep everyone in front of me for as long as possible and try to trap/block their movement. The A went down fast and Horn didn't last too long after that. Poe ended up getting trapped in a 4 shuttle box and he didn't have time once there to get out of it. Hard game for my opponent but he kept good spirits, hey it happens. Doom Shuttle was at half at game's end. WIN - 100 to 12

Holy crap I'm 2-0! Not a great MOV because of game 1 and it was an 18 person (accommodating venue!) tourney. So I probably didn't have a chance at that shiny alt art Vader but boy howdy I was going to try!

Game 3:

It's 10:45 PM and I'm playing against Super Fat 60 point Han and big boy Poe with R2. My opponent here decided to rush me and try and swing behind me to disrupt my delicate ballet. Unfortunately I didn't react quite like I should have and it worked. I was able to take out Han but it took me a good 65 minutes. Poe took a fair amount of damage but nothing consistent so never got to his hull and of course big boy Poe was back up to full by games end. I had one mostly full Tactician shuttle left alive against a full Poe, and me without EU. So it didn't go well. I tried, I really did. But he got me in the end. Grueling match against a great opponent. Loss - 60 to 100

All in all guys, I did better than I expected to. I'm going to make tweaks and take it out again in a few weeks. With how large ships work in the tournament scene and how important MOV is this list probably won't win me a pretty Vader card, but what can I say? It's all about that Lambda.
