Threat Assessment: Imperial Purge Troopers

I'm actually planning on using these in an upcoming game, including a nemesis. This will be helpful.

Ranged (Light) ranks will help them throw grenades more effectively.

The name makes me think they're bulimic.

**** that is one tough boggard. A group of them will be even more troublesome, as they are not going to just be having one of their own being by themselves.

That being said, a nemesis that is based on this could be expected if said nemesis was leading a stormtrooper platoon/company.

I had thought about giving them Ranged (Light), but given how brutal Auto Fire is in this game and that they've got a pretty solid dice pool for combat checks, I felt it wasn't necessary and would border on overkill for an opponent that's already plenty dangerous. If anything, the grenades are more to clear out areas of riff-raff rather than direct damage against the PCs, especially as PCs aren't as likely to be clustered together.

Yeah, a Nemesis-version (probably with +5 wound threshold, 15 strain threshold, +1 rank of Adversary, and +1 ranks in combat skills) would be a tough nut to crack for a group of PCs that try to go the "head on" approach.

Awesome.

Oh, and don't be surprised the more "combat oriented" players decide that having a portable missile launcher is must in their kits.
