We can all agree on the Raider packing the Advanced fix being bs, right?

No. Buy it or don't.

Okay, not entirely bs, but that is the case close to the line. Imperial Veterans at an earlier point with Advanced and Defender fix would have made a lot more sense, but this made the Raider sell a lot better. I don't think it is the end of the world, but it isn't exactly consumer friendly.

...I had left over buffalo wings for breakfast...BECAUSE I WENT TO ******* STAR WARS AND I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT!

I think the raider was sexy and would have bought it anyway. In fact I protest for the opposite reason, I bought a Raider for wanting it and then purchased 2 more tie advanced because of it. Face palm on that one all day long as I haven't used more than Vader and Juno ever. I don't blaim ffg for it though, my impulse is the culprit here.

but once you've acquired the taste, nothing else will do!

I say the same thing about kimchi.

Funny story actually:

HP sauce! Stands for "House of Parliament". It's a delicious sauce that many English and it's subsequent colonies enjoy on their Breaky or sausage. Not America though! That problem child!

American has A1 sauce. Now A1 sauce started in the UK, is pretty close to HP, but has no mention of anything gross and British that Americans so hate. So they started marketing that heavily in America, hiding all it's British roots and Americans ate that stuff up. I like to think A.1 stands for "American #1".

That could be debated. There's no doubt that the Advanced needed help more so than the Bomber, but the bomber wasn't exactly a major part Imperial lists at any major tournament.

It's true it wasn't the most customer friendly way to fix the Advanced, but customer friendly is only one factor that FFG has to consider.

I hardly need you or anyone else to tell me which post or posters I should ignore. Perhaps your time would be better served scouring the local library for offensive books to burn?

Breakfast today will be a coffee cake and a praline latte.

Someone's got a sweet tooth! Bacon and soss sammich with HP sauce for me, cheers. And a cup of tea brewed for six hours in an old hobnailed boot.

I need the energy or autoCAD will put me back to sleep.

You can get HP in Canada

Here is the thing. Everyone has a right to their opinion...

Sure, but when someone makes 3+ threads on the same topic, then they have gone past the point of posting an opinion.

But it's not our place to stop him, just to ignore him and report him to the mods, they can deal with him. The best/worst thing you can do to a troll is to ignore him. When someone posts 3+ threads with the same topic, they have gone past the point of opinion and into the realm of trolling.

I love this game and feel it is generally affordable. I do tend to over spend but that is solely on me.

But at the same time I know that certain things that just don't fit well with me (i.e. my pet peeves) and I get on my proverbial soap box. I'm honestly very appreciative of people that give me reasonable alternatives to my opinions rants. Often I find that I didn't look at something from their perspective and other times I just bring it up too often. Sorry :( that's on me too and I'm trying to get better. :o

I don't know if anyone's ignored me but honestly I don't think there much I can do about it so I won't fret it. I've tried not to complain for complaints sake.

I for one am glad I can come to a forum and get thoughtful opinions when I ask questions, give ideas and share concerns even if we disagree.

What on earth is HP sauce?

That's what people at Hewlett Packard drink when they're designing their laptops...

Not since Carly Fiorina fired them in a bid to free up her own time for a political run.

Ribann takes new shapes and forms every day.

One can also argue that this made it a lot more affordable to have several Raiders, since you can just sell the fix cards. Like I said, I don't mind it much, but it did raise an eyebrow. It made the Raider expansion incredible value. It made people who had little interest in it buy it - that does not have to be entirely negative. FFG only came close to the line, but they didn't cross it.

Ugh, A1 is terrible and anyone using it on a steak that costs more than $5 should be jailed.

I'm incredibly surprised that anyone is upset about the Advanced stuff being included with the Raider, TBH. To me it feels like a bonus to getting the thing I was most excited about (Imperial Huge ship). The Raider cost me roughly what I was willing to spend on an Imperial Huge, and has made playing Epic games exponentially more fun. And it comes with _4_ copies of all the Advanced fix stuff. And a model of the Advanced! That's nice added value!

Anyone using any sort of sauce on a stake that costs more than $5 should be. The only point of sauce is to cover up the taste of bad meat.

**** it Deathrain now I am thinking about a second Raider and of course I will need proper Decimator and Shuttle escorts with it. This carrier better be crap before I decide I need 10 ties instead of 8.

How about Brunch ?

I love a good Waffle, with some Bacon and Chocolate Milk for brunch.

Is fried chicken & waffles a thing in anyone elses area? Because whoever came up with that should get a Nobel Prize award.

I've had it. Not impressed.

Fried chicken livers and waffles, however, is magic.
