So we had our monthly store tournament with the winter kit, want that vader at art... so let's see how it went! (My first battle report so bear wth me.) Any suggestions are welcome!

We had a pretty good turn out, 3 rounds no cut. My list was a symmetrical brobot b and c

Round 1 vs Vader and two naked bounty hunters.

Rocks were set up so that there was roughly 3 lanes. Bounty hunters set up middle and my right. I set up both b and c on my left. His vader in between his bounty hunters, middleish. I started with a hard right 1 to head to the middle, followed by a boost, which sorta caught his middle bounty hunter offguard, but he didn't over commit to the left lane. So by round two all ships were heading towards the middle. I banked 3 towards the middle and boosted bank 1 to go straight up, yay evades. At this point we had 1 bh and vader in range 3 of both of my ig88s. Vader shoots, range 3, two hits, no damage. 2 ig88 shots and 1 crackshot later, and vader is off the board. The rest of the game was simple clean up. 75-0 win

Round 2 vs Super dash minus EU with chewie with predator and mf title.

I don't really recall exactly how the maneuvers went, but my plan was to take out dash asap so I could chase down the lesser pilot skill of chewie if I lost one robot. Two key moments pop into my head, one where he declared a barrel roll with dash that landed on an asteroid. I think he forgot he didn't have boost, as he immediately regretted his choice when he got the broll template down. So one round of dash not shooting. Next round I was able to block his dash, and keep him on the asteroid, while getting a shot with my ig. All the while chewie was laying huge shots into my igs keeping them in arc and range 1-2. However I had the best green dice I have ever had in any x wing game ever, so I was quite healthy. Next turn however swung for him pretty nice, as I misguessed his move and he ended up with both ships behind both of mine, and he laid in some good damage, getting one bot into hull. At this point both of my crackshot were gone, his dash with 3hp and my robots in the wrong direction, one with 3hp. I end up bugging out with the low hp one, and turning with the higher hp one. Two turns later his dash is gone. Then two turns of both bots shooting chewie and I take it. 75-0 win. Again I really have to mention my green dice this game. They were beyond incredible. I got away with multiple 4 dice rolled vs me resulting in zero hits on me. Completely blown away.

At this point I'm liking my chances, two solid point wins.

Round 3 puts me against my cousin who's list I put together. It suited his request of flying with something not seen a lot, wanting to use ordnance, and his best tournament results used b wings. So the list, Cracken with vi and cluster missiles, two bandits with concussion missiles, and two naked bs. The idea was Cracken shoots his clusters, gives two ps10 target locks to the bandits who focused, and have two nasty modified shots, plus the bs are so efficient. It had clearly worked well to this point, being 2-0.

So the asteroids were basically all on the right, except for 1 small one on the left. He set up his bs in the middle and the z95 on the far left. So I set up my igs for the joust with the z95s. We both zoomed forward and with a boost by me, I got into range 3 of his z95s. Luckily he couldn't do his clusters, so he only gave off 1 target lock. I couldn't hit the z that had the TL with both bots, so I figured I'd just take the range 3 missile since I had an evade token and autothrusters. So, two shots and a crackshot later and Cracken is down. Getting that exchange without the bs in range was nice.

Next round he got one b on the only asteroid that was on that side of the board. Two more rounds and a crackshot that was perfect saw two z95s die before they could shoot. Then the bs went down. A third win at 75-0.

So I took first, which I was extatic about. First time flying brobots together (I have flown 1 at a time before, just not both). Definitely an incredibly powerful list. All 3 of my games were the first ones to be over, fast games, which I like.

The crackshot I think has got to be list mvp. I was blown away at the difference it made. Had a lot of fun. I enjoyed the fast moving robots.
