FFG/Asmodee/Days of Wonder consolidation

I wonder how much of the clampdown is aimed more at the $125 Box of Most Wanted, rather than MM/CSI/Amazon

Wasn't that eBay only or did some online retailers also do that?

In short, should I be worried?

In short, should I be worried?

yes.

:D

Okay gang, I just called FFG and talked to one of the cool Star Brothers there. He explained the whole thing to me, and we had a great ten minute chat. The stores that sell online will be able to continue their business as always, and the customers, us, are barely going to notice any change. The Days Of Wonder item is the main focus of the new industry statement. This is not some GW Monster move coming to steal our online sellers, or make FFG products available only at FFG approved LGS.

Chill, the sky is just fine.

The fine fellow I spoke with realized the responses going negative'ish here after I chatted him up, and you can now expect a new statement regarding the changes coming in April.

Uh... not that I made that happen, just saying the man realized that there are some worried FFG Customers now that this is on the forum, and FFG is going to clear stuff ups.

All GOOD!

:D

Now go play with your wonderful FANTASY FLIGHT GAMES STAR WARS Space Ships and stuff!

Good. Screw Diamond/Alliance.

Yeah I wanted to find out for myself and you guys too. The best way is to just talk to the people who know and not go crazy on the forums.

Real easy...

:D

The sky is falling if I have to pay 20% more-33% more per item. I make sure 50% go through local store but I now will not be able to buy in such volume which will limit even more what I will buy.

Well if you spend $200 to $400 a month on gaming supplies that 30% savings can be quite a bit.....

I've had my share of "don't worry, you will barely notice anything different". So I will wait this out to say more on it.

Depends on what part of the world you're in, can one get shiny ships... All Star Wars-related FFG products have been yoked from distribution in our part of the world and was hoping the Asmodee/FFG/Days of Wonder merge could help with FFG Star Wars product being available once more to the local distributors.
