I'm surprised you guys haven't talked adaptability or whatever its called, too lazy to look, But the 0 point card were you can either reduce or raise you pilot skill by 1.
that's because we don't know how it will really work yet.

Wedge flew thru the second death star by following the Falcon, a ship much larger flying thru spaces it could fit thru first..
I actually don't know how to do spoiler buttons, but Poe kind of one-ups that a bit.
You should re watch that scene, Wedge definitely flew point for the superstructure run, led the Falcon in, destroyed the power regulator on the north* tower, and was already on his way out when Lando stitched up the reactor.
* Not sure how they worked that out, probably all relative.
Somewhat related point. People complain about Chewie getting no medal at the end of Episode 4. At least he got to be in the ceremony. Wedge and that other surviving Y-wing pilot are just out in the crowd I guess.
Wedge isn't there for a simple reason: He chose to retreat when his ship got damaged instead of dying in the trench to buy Luke more time, aka fulfilling the mission.
There's a reason fleeing the battlefield counts as a destroyed ship in X-Wing.
Luckily, Wedge got some testicles between movies and was pretty great in Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.

Yeah, but Wedge, when asked to reprise the role, said "It bored him".
I'm pretty sure Poe is referred multiple times as the best pilot in the resistance and Wedge is never spoken of like that in the original trilogy. So Poe must be better hands down.
