So I read the above link FAQ clarifications on parallel bumping in the same direction. ie: two ships that are parallel and bumped, facing the same direction, take the same straight speed maneuver. Even though their bases are likely bumping again, the rules consider them not bumped, and they may action and attack as normal.
Does this apply to the same situation but with each ship facing opposite directions? An example would be a joust where you and your opponent have bumped into each other, and you're both parallel but each facing the opposite way. If they both choose straight 1 maneuvers, and they're both small ships, do they complete their maneuvers or do they not move and are considered still bumped?
