PSA: Risk: Star Wars Edition 2015 is the 30 minute filler game you're looking for

This is going to sound inconceivable, but Hasbro, the company that brought you the Little Ponies, made a pretty decent Star Wars game. I know, it's crazy.

First off, it's NOT Risk.

We played 2 games between 10:30 and midnight last night.

It's 30 minutes and you can find it for around $20.

The miniatures are awful. The rules are a bit of a mess.

But it really takes 1/2 an hour. And it's 1/2 an hour that was well spent. Better than watching another episode of Househunters. If only, ever slightly.

If you get a chance, give it a whirl.

ok you say the the miniatures are awful and the rules are a mess but give it a try because the game play is 30 minutes? I dont follow the logic..and saying its only slightly better than house hunters isn't making me want it any more???

From what I've read on the boardgame reddit, while it is fun and enjoyable games are close but can become swingy because a lot is put on dice rolls and the lightsaber battle doesn't matter all that much for either side.

I'm personally excited to try it. I have access to it I just haven't gotten the chance to sit down and learn it.

I can't tell if this is a positive or negative review. I'd rather sit in silence for 30 minutes than watch some rich people search for a house... I was definitely interested in this game until I saw this review.
