PILOTS

Poe Dameron (37)
T-70 X-Wing (31), R5-P9 (3), Veteran Instincts (1), Autothrusters (2)

Ezra Bridger (27)
Attack Shuttle (20), Autoblaster Turret (2), Jan Ors (2), Push the Limit (3)

Kyle Katarn (36)
HWK-290 (21), Predator (3), Twin Laser Turret (6), Recon Specialist (3), Moldy Crow (3)

Poe is now super accurate at PS10 with a passed off focus token and a target lock. Ezra can PtL every turn for a Focus and an Evade (or double Evades using Jans, if things get tough), thus activating her enhanced green dice.

Ezra also has the blind spots covered and can protect Kyle's doughnut hole using the unblockable Autoblaster turret. Gives arc dodgers like Soontir something to thing about, anyway.

Kyle is the squishiest of the bunch, but his TLT shots are super accurate thanks to Predator and focus, and the stockpile of focus tokens combined with the Evade token from Jans Ors (he should take this on the first turn of combat, so that both he and Ezra have focus modified green dice and an evade token) can help him survive an engagement or two.

If Ezra or Poe get into trouble, they can take their own focus or evade actions, then Kyle's triggered ability can pass an additional focus token which turns into an Evade thanks to Jans.

It's not the fanciest list ever, but it covers a lot of area and is pretty durable, despite the low HP. I feel like these rebels are Hard to Kill.

Thoughts? Your input is appreciated.

it's still only 15 HP with 2 green dice. list isn't so durable and loss of any of two support ships can cause another one to be shot down immediately. synergy is great but it's not a good idea to build a combo which stop working after you lose just one ship

It is a clever idea to use focus & evade to try to mitigate the disadvantages of low health ships but I don't think that this will give enough defense modification to last long enough to win a battle. The damage output is about average for three rebels (maybe a litttle below average) and in the current stresshog meta there is going to be a lot of action denying going on then all of a sudden your squishy support ships have nothing left to help them!

PLT & Jan on Ezra is really smart. Focus action becomes an Evade off Jan, then PTL for the Evade action and then the stress token acts as a defensive focus so suddenly this two green dice shuttle has up to four defense! But the Shuttle only has four green manuevers to clear that stress and if it gets blocked, ioned or stressed by your opponent it is going to become vulnerable again.

I think it will quickly becom Poe doing all the work and as good as he is, with the whole enemy force trying to take him out he won't last forever.

I say proxy the shuttle, fly a casual game and tell us how it does!

I think its pretty good. The action economy is solid and focus + evade will stop at least 2 damage typically, so that means your opponent has to roll 3 hits to get anything through (sometimes you'll stop that too with decent rolls). Plus, Jan is flexible so once a ship takes any damage, you know the opponent will be going after that one, and can stick the evade there. I like the fact that all the ships are relatively equally tempting targets, so your opponent might not try to kill Poe first (and even then, you can use Jan for his benefit too, plus the insurance of a regen droid).
