See, if X-wings need an Aces pack at some point, I'd actually quite like if they sprinkled in the veteran pilots from elsewhere instead of making yet more pilots - and Corran is lethal no matter the hull he flies in.

Pilots I'd like to see in an X-wing: Keyan Farlander (Fun with Astromechs), Tycho (Stressbot supreme? Possibly overdoing Hobbie, but that's almost inevitable these days), Corran (Double-taps are scary no matter the hull), possibly Jake (For the ultimate in mobility X-wings... especially with BB-8 , eh? )

Any of these too powerful? Possibly, possibly. Jake certainly deserves a close eye.

Would be big kudos to FFG if they do the Green stripe repaint if/when they give Corran his X. Double if they make "Whistler" a card too =)

To be honest, Whistler might well be how you make Corran's existing ability work in an X-wing. Make him similar to (but not identical to) a fire control system. That also then gives the E-wing version an option, by giving up R2-D2, and moving his double-tap support into the astromech slot, to take advanced sensors or sensor jammer.

Wedge, and iirc Hobbie flew TIE fighters and Interceptors

Tycho and Corran are best known for their time in the X wing

But Wedge Tycho and Luke all flew at one point E wings

Wedge Tycho and Corran also flew in Z95s

Keyan is the sole Y wing survivor of Endor

Ibistam flew in an X wing (even though she hated it)

I think Farlander and Tycho are fine. I know they flew other ships more often, but the ships they are in currently are more what people remember. Whereas Corran/Maarek were put into a different ship originally, not the one they were known for. I was glad Maarek was getting his signature ship after all. I just hope they follow suit with Corran.

Uhh, no. Maybe Keyan is remembered as flying a B-wing, but Tycho only flew an A-wing once. He didn't even want to, but they needed pilots with the reflexes and qualifications to fly an A-wing, and he was one of the few available, so he volunteered. His ship of choice was the X-wing.

I'm told Legends Luke flew in an E-wing for a time. Kind of expect to see that happen in the game at some point. For Rebel veterans it's between Y-wing, Z-95, E-wing, and the T-65 for my guess. Problem is, they are all doing well right now, or have already gotten 'fix' or expanded content. So among them I still think it will be Y-wing and E-wing but who knows.

Wes in a Y-wing in the age of TLTs would be terrifying. "Make Soontir run out of tokens in a single pass" terrifying. With Predator or VI to boot!

True true. But to be fair, Tycho's attack value in the shuttle would be 0. If we're talking about the academy, didn't Biggs and Gavin attend the academy as well?
