I would watch the feces out of this movie.
What if Episodes 1-3 didn't hoover?
What if everyone just stopped wasting their time hating the prequels ? If you hate them, don't watch them. Hating something is a humongous waste of time and energy.

Hate is not a waste of time, for it is one of the final steps to mastering the dark side.
You are a failed Sith, turn in your mask.
I do like this series of videos but honestly the story from the prequels is generally pretty good. It is just the storytelling and direction that fall short.
I'm sure that I will ever get sick of watching videos that point out problems with the prequels.
That's is just so much there. I think I've almost watched more Plinkett's (by time) now than I have actual Prequel movies.
Good god yes.
I wouldn't have to listen to folks tell me a film directed by JJ Abrams is good because it is "better than the prequels" despite copious problems and sending Han Solo to his death in the same sort of chump way that made people rage when they did it to Kirk.
At this point I think it is just a reflex for people to say "The prequels hoover." I agree with Toqtamish. It is just really boring at this point. Just cheap grabs at "geek cred."
Han trying to redeem his son and getting betrayed has what to do with a bridge falling out from under a character while fighting generic obsessed nutob with a superweapon 23?

Geek cred? Dude, if I wanted geek cred, I'ld get it the old school way. By biting the heads off of chickens.
As for Kirk dying, which time? Amok Time? Great story well told and acted. Generations? Should have been done better, but it wasn't terrible. Into Darkness? I must assume that's the "chump" death you're compairring Hans death too. Thing is, you're wrong. Hans death wasn't chump. It was a father trying to save his son.
As for what would happen if the "Episodes didn't hoover", get your quotes right lad, we would have 4 factions in Armada. FFG doesn't want to touch the Episodes, I assume, as an act of vengeance for Lucas crapping on their childhood. Good ethical stand. Lucas sculpted them with an eye to toy sales, not the story, so FFG refuses to give him any money for anything from the Episodes.
Now that Disney has the rights, how will they treat the Episodes? Well, they are putting out the original movies on Blu-ray, so that's a good sign.
My wife and I recently 're-watched the prequels. I figured that I've matured since my nerd-rage days, and that my love of Star Wars would now attempt to accept the prequels.
Well, it was halfway successful. Phantom menace (little orphan Ani and the disco fish) was still very painful. I'm not as hard on Hayden Christensen as I used to be, and I think the plot is very good, but... The directing of Attack of the Clones sapped it of credibility. I did like the third film more, despite some of the cheese.
While my heart knows more forgiveness, they were still disappointing. The Clone Wars cartoon was better (some kiddie episodes notwithstanding... intended audience and all that).
While I think Armada fleets could justifiably have old Clone War hardware in it, especially fleets on the Outer Rim, I'm very much in favor of keeping the game in the OT time period. I'm also not keen on TFA-period stuff, even if I love TFA (seen it 3 times so far).
