TFA Spoilers are out in the wild

By Frimmel, in Star Wars: Armada Off-Topic

Just a heads up. Spoilers for Force Awakens are out in the wild. And the review embargo still doesn't lift for nine hours.

So if you're inclined to a media blackout you should have started it already.

OK, thanks for the heads up, I don't wan't to know that Flinn is Ray's sister till I see that for myself.

I am going to judiciously to ignore all spoilers until I see it for myself after Christmas.

What is a "review embargo"?

Studios will screen films for critics prior to general release. Often though under the condition that they don't publish reviews prior to a certain date. This is often referred to as an embargo.

Most critics abide by this in order to maintain access to the early screenings.
