It has its obvious holes, but hey, if you want fighter superiority...

I'd personally drop the OP on Avenger (its redundant other than for Double-Arc Shots) and add another 8 Point Zig!

I'm aware of that, but I think it's nice to set up some shots for the VSD too. Sure, they can still spend exhausted tokens, but once they do they're gone. The idea is, you're probably not gonna get to spend your defense tokens, but if you do, you're gonna lose them for good.

Sure, you can try to count on always activating the VSD first, but things happen in battle. It's good to have one's bases covered.

I would probably look at a Expanded Hangars + Flight Controllers on a VSD-I since you're using it as a carrier. I'm not sold on OP, too expensive, inconsistent with activations, and Avenger is good enough to stand on its own.

ISD-II should have Gunnery Teams over FC, and you want Boosted Coms. Why get Expanded Bays if you 8 squadrons and 2 ships with 4-squadron commands (Expanded on the VSD)?

Well the list only has 7 squadron native, so somebody has to get EHB to have full command of the fighters. Of course that could be the VSD to even out command values, or it could stay on the ISD to maximize its squadron activations. Really just depends on what a person was comfortable with.

I usually agree that GT is all but an auto-include for ISDs, but it didn't sit with the theme I was playing with, and I've seen plenty of harm done with multi-zone fire if one drives one's cheese-wedge well.

And yeah, boosted comms is a notion I played with, but understand that these lists were just built to have fun with a theme, not necessarily to be the omg/aren'tyouclever/tourneywinner/minmax lists so often expected in this neighborhood. I frequently make lists just to make humor of various themes and ideas and/or to exaggerate a list in some way (like the There's too Many of Them list).

But anyway, another alternative since I'm screwing around with this concept, and you brought up some otherwise (outside of my mad tinkering) valid points:
