As a primarily scum player, I have no interest in the new tie and x-wing, but my recent jump into epic has me itching for the Gozanti. I'm just hoping the price drops closer to the rebel transport range shortly after release.

George Lucas is a hack that accidentally created Star Wars. We're indebted to him but he doesn't really deserve credit for its greatness as that would imply that he's actually capable of deliberately pulling that off.

I remember reading somewhere that the TIEs in the movie were supposed to be blue originally, but they couldn't get the color right and turned out light purple. George Lucas was okay with this and someone had to stop him.

Don't forget he ruined THX 1138 with a special edition also.

I appreciate what Lucas did, heck the guy helped form a large part of my childhood that turned me into the Sci-if geek I am today. I do think that he has lost it. And not just Jar Jar binks I mean. Lucas has said in interviews that he doesn't understand the hate for the prequels. The phantom menace was horrible! If not for the Obi-Wan duel at the end it would have no redeeming qualities. The next two were better but not great. I really don't know how so many incredibly cheesy parts made it into the prequels. If he can't understand then he has lost something he used to have. I don't hate him for it. If Disney had not bought Star Wars we would not be getting any more movies because Lucas has aid he is done. It's in much better hands now it appears.
