The pace is starting to be unbelievable how quick they are pushing out and announcing new stuff .... My wallet will break and I don't know if I can play test all of it before the next lost hits the shelves

I was thinking the same thing... I absolutely love all the new stuff but I don't understand why they are not spreading it out a bit more. First we get nothing for almost 2 months and now everything at once! and I know it's not coming out for a while but still... there is not even enough time to test it all! I still haven't come around to fly all the ships that are available now

Don't panic, you've got 6-8 months before we see Imperial Veterans. This isn't GW, who announces new stuff a week before it goes on sale (or prices it at $100-$200 a time, for that matter).

Since August we have had:

- Release of the K-Wing, TIE Punisher, Kihraxz, YV-666.

- Release of the Raider and TIE Advanced fix.

- Release of The Force Awakens core set with the new T-70 and TIE/FO.

- Coming soon Ghost and Phantom.

- Coming soon TIE Advanced Prototype

- Coming soon Jumpmaster

- Coming soon Mist Hunter

- Coming soon Gozanti

- Coming soon T-70 and TIE/FO standalones

- Coming soon custom dials

- Coming soon colored bases and pegs

- Coming soon Imperial Veterans TIE Defender and Bomber.

That is a lot of new products developed in a short timespan.

Compared to last year, there were just a couple of waves, right? And Wave 5 had only 2 ships.

If we include Scumm and Villany release in wave 6, and not counting rehashes of the same ship, that accounts for 16 totally new ships released or announced in 2015.

Cut it down to Ghost, Mist Hunter, Punishing One, and Imperial Veterans and it starts looking pretty achievable, really.

That's not an unreasonable amount of actual releases.

And last year we had the Scum & Villany faction announced in August (released in January), Rebel Aces released in September, Wave 5 (VT-49/YT-2400) released in November and the Imperial Raider announced in December.

OK, there's a little bit more this year - but with the release of Force Awakens in cinemas there was always going to be. It's hardly overkill, is it?

My Imperials need a bit more bomber, but I didn't like the Punisher. So there it is, a new Bomber.

Now my Rebels just need some boosting of the Xwing.

Two waves, an epic ship and a starter in a whole year isn't exactly overwhelming. I seriously doubt we'll see the FO-Fighter, T-70 and Gozanti over here until January, and I wouldn't be too surprised if a pre-Christmas release of those ships is pretty much US only.

Still no where near Wizkids Attack Wing release schedule....they released core in August 2013 and already have at least 21 waves of ships!

X Wing released at Gencon 2012 and has no where near the amount of releases thankfully!

Yeah, but when the quality of the ships is that of leftover, gnawed pacifiers, painted by 5 year olds; you can understand how they can pump the ships out so quickly.
