Last I checked, you couldn't use Bigg's ability with Huge ships.

And you can't use Biggs to protect small and large based ships from attacks by Huge ships.
Biggs Darklighter’s pilot ability does not affect huge ships. Small and medium ships may attack huge ships that are at Range 1 of Biggs Darklighter, and huge ships treat Biggs Darklighter’s card text as blank when attacking.

Huh. I don't remember this being the case when Huge ships came out. Was this originally printed in the Rebel Transport booklet? I mean, if y'all say this has always been the case, I won't argue. I'm just confused and concerned that I never knew about this (but certain opponents may have, and chosen not to tell me).
It's not so much in the rules booklet as in the tournament rules. Most people make a habit of using the tournament rules in order to be used to them should they ever do go to a tournament, and because those rules tend to be balanced quite well. In the beginning Gunner and Luke couldn't be equipped, now they can. Navigator still can't be though.
So next time, just ignore their Biggs and blow the huge to kingdom come.

Well, you'll also see that in that game, my dice were as cold as they've ever been.
Also I suppose we weren't really checking tournament rules back then. We only ever did a league or two, and those were just 100 point games.

Also, when do people think they're gonna spoil some more stuff for us from Veterans? Glaive squad points cost, Ryad's ability… I'm so excited I can't wait!
