So a little backstory, I have been playing Xwing for 4 months now, and Have played with my brother, Who has been amassing a scum Armada, and friends who I have been teaching the game. My brother, has started just runnning turrets and cheap ships, and this guy, and Its super difficult to counter. For the empire, I ususally fly Aces like Soontir, Vader, and Whipser (my absolute Favorites!) on the Rebels, I like Jake, Corran, and..... nope, that's about it. but this guy is a serious problem for them.

I flew Corran, Jake, and Arvel, against his Scum.... swarm? basically 2 Hwks, Kavil, and 2 Sycks, I focused down Torkil, but that didnt leave me in a Good position, and Awings can only do so much damage, Corran put up a good fight, but it was not enough. I have tried other lists, but this was my best attempt. not to sound competitive, but without this HWK, My brother and I are very Evenly matched Xwing players. so, any advice? have any of you faced this annoying little jerk?

also, My next idea is Generic Bwings and other jousty rebels, fight fire with fire.

Use Roark Garnet, one of the Rebel HWK pilots. His ability triggers at the start of the Combat Phase while Torkil's triggers at the end of the Activation phase. Your brother will set one of your aces to pilot skill 0 and then you can use Roark to boost it right back up to pilot skill 12.

Get your own HWK and fly Roark. When I am flying Mux I hate seeing that guy because he can undo whatever Mux does.

Fly something other than aces. He's only flying 5 (not a swarm) fragile ships, anything with some punch to it that doesn't get hard countered by Mux should do. Like Crackshot Black Squadron TIE Fighters.

I ran the three Scum Hawks in a store tournement and finished second. I made a mistake against a fat Han build but got him down to 2 health for my only loss.

Palob or Mux are on nearly all of my Scum lists. They disrupt things so badly that people do not quite know what to do with them.

Nah Brah I made about 20 SCUM last week and MUX was in that batch. This week I have made about 20 Rebels, and later I am going to do all of the cool Empire folks... prolly 20 there too.

Roark, Cracken and Blount. The latter two with Swarm Tactics will give Mux hearburn when you have 3 ships firings at PS12!

I always imagine Mux with the voice and attitude of Danny Devito during his TAXI days. I see that sob propped up up in the cockpit of his HWK on a booster seat sneering.
