TIE Shuttle, using a title to make a new ship instead of making a brand new ship.

Bomb, Imperial only, Spacetrooper.

Each round, Spacetroopers may move 1 in any direction at PS0. At PS0 they will make a 2 die attack at the nearest enemy ship. They have 1 hull and 2 agility.

this would be.... game changing, for the good.... I dunno.

If it wasnt clear, i was thinking a 2 die primary attack. 3 dice at range 1, ect.

Giving spacetroopers autoblaster turrets might be another option- 2 dice at range 1 only, persistantly denying an area to the enemy until they "waste" a turn or two taking care of it.

Space troopers should be a bit simpler in mechanics. Perhaps a 'bomb' token with template guides on three or four sides, moves as described above with no arc of facing, auto damage of one to any enemy ship within range 1 at end of activation phase, targetable but only destroyed on at least one crit result due to small target size. Cuts down on dice rolls if you don't roll useless green dice for a bomb token.

hence them being discardable crew members that work when bumping, makes crew carriers less bomberey and more blockerey.

Put 2 Gamma's with Tactician + Recon Specialist/Fleet Officer into a Tie swarm to make it more effective.

I mean It's 6 ships instead of 7, but i'm willing to trade one Tie Fighter for a couple of ships that help the entire swarm as a whole.

I don't see a Spacetrooper being a Bomb upgrade. It would be a Crew upgrade that worked LIKE a bomb.
