wow Some one in Imperial high command must have been displeased with the lack of TIE bombers and their performance in premier events and worlds. Jonas got demoted from a bomber pilot to a shuttle pilot relegated to a less than glorified chauffeur for Imperial Officers that have not fallen out of grace with the Empire.

That's the TIE Boarding Craft. It was originally designed for ANH but was cut. It's supposedly the way Vader and his crew boarded the Tantive. The Bomber was based on it, as was the shuttle, if you go by real world models and such. All three are very different ships but they all share a double hull design. Turns out the shuttle actually has more in common with the Defender with its wings bent outwards! I never knew that.

I think carrying Vader as a cheaper more maneuverable doom shuttle or 18 point tactician ships is perfect. 2x 18 is 36 for a what looks to be a pretty strong element of control for normal imperial options. You could likely fit 2 stress bombers in with 2 aces for a pretty nasty little 4 ship imperial list.
If only they'd do a Boarding Party card to go on this thing for Epic...

Well when I did the GR-75 scum conversion two titles essentially made it a different ship aka the Q-ship.

With a boarding craft you can send boarding party team into a CR90 or a YT-1300 and turn it against your opponent.

This. And thus this title is rock-solid OT canon.
And FFG, inspired by the X-Wing community, did a freaking good job at it.
Oh well ... the technicians put this one together the wrong way ... they are only humans after all ... so ... yeah I guess ...
I think the Doom Bomber might be a thing. It's a 19 point ship that you have to deal with or it can hurt your aces. You can even throw on a hull upgrade so it can survive potentially a bit longer. Still 2 points cheaper than the Doom Shuttle. You can actually get things in arc so much easier too.
Because I am a mad-man, I am going to run a Bomber with Mara Jade + Saboteur. Then, have the Emperor in a Shuttle in the back with Wampa, Scourge, and Chaser hanging out as his escort. Now, the idea is to get Wampa in to shoot at an Ace you want dead, Palp that crit in, Damage him. Then next turn get your old Shuttle right in the way of the enemy ship to block/flip his damage/stress them out next turn.
Also yes, DoomShuttle is madness I approve of. It's practically a faster Feedback array

Personally, I think the FO TIE is the one that should have been the Title. For the regular TIE Fighter. Because they are almost identical except for their paint jobs.
The TIE/fo is a lot closer to the TIE/ln than the SF TIE/fo is to the TIE/fo.
But the emperor is only 4pts per crew slot!

I have to say Mara Jade is probably a great crew to put on the Bomber. It can easily get stuck out in the middle of a furball and bump all to heck. Still....on a Scimitar, it doesn't leave much offensive power behind that.
I like the idea of Tohmax w/ Crackshot because that's a powerful enough build there without Mara Jade. Add her in and it just gets better. I can even see putting Intel Agent on to give fits to people like Soontir Fel. You will always be able to Barrel roll somewhere closer to stick on the stress. Moff Jerrod is a good option, too. Bombers are crit magnets!
It's too bad you can't take even a single bomb with it. It would be great to stress someone out and then Proton Bomb the heck out of them!
