Stay on Target question

Hey

One little question came into my mind while fiddling with new possibilites that Imperial Veterans article brought us.

First an example;

Let's say I'm using both Stay on Target and TIE Mk. II on any given ship, let's go with a Defender;

I reveal my maneuver, which is a 3 Hard Left Turn. Now I use Stay on Target and rotate my dial to a same speedmaneuver, a 3 Bank Left and that's where the fun begins. Stay on Target says to treat that maneuver as red, but TIE Mk. II says to treat that maneuver as green, so then which is applied first, or let's say which is final?
Those are two cards that refer to the same mechanic, so which is stronger? Do I treat that maneuver as red, but then apply TIE Mk. II and in fact treat it as green? Or do I normally treat those maneuvers as green but Stay on Target makes them temporarily red and ignores TIE Mk. II as well?

To be quite honest, final red seems reasonable, as you get to change you maneuver, but for a price of a stress token. But I also can't see a reason TIE Mk. II shouldn't kick in, as there's nothing that restricts their timing.

I hope it's clear enough. So, has this been FAQ'd? Did I miss it?

Something that makes a maneuver MORE difficult trumps something that makes it LESS difficult.
