I'm tempted to say this is the best expansion just for the artwork alone. That Bomber paint scheme is absolutely sexy.

In a perfect world, everything would be delayed and Imperial Veterans would come out tomorrow instead. I'd be okay with a delay for Wave 8, the Gozanti, etc. in exchange for instantly accessible Veterans.

But seriously this might just be the best thing I've seen, as a guy that has tried very hard to make the defender work.

I like my games not being decided by green dice. I really like fighting over objectives and how that makes 12 games instead of one. Also the Imperial Star Destroyer is the best model FFG has put out, ever.

If X-wing had come out after Armada, I probably wouldn't have picked it up.

I'd love some of that art as wallpapers. FFG should really release that stuff. I already have some things from an older thread, but I think the newest I have there is from Rebel Aces.

Oh and the expansion includes more Crackshots. And awesome things. Lets hope they release it this month as a super stealth release! I kind of doubt it. But it would be the best thing EVER!

I envy the Imperials for their cold, mathematical efficiency. Bumping people with Chop is fun, but this is hands down the best expansion in the wave.

TIE Fighters, TIE Bombers, and TIE Defenders are my favorite TIEs. This is a really good time for me.

I am so so happy. Two of my favorite ships... with new sexy paint... and awesome cards.... I am in paradise. This is the only larger expansion I plan on buying multiples of.

I prefer my opponent's loss comes at the hand of Ackbar, and Enhanced Armaments, and at long range from my MC30.

And oddly, this is the second time today I've heard the same comment about Armada vs. X-Wing. If Armada had come out first...

It's decent, but Rebel aces was pretty great too.

I'm not sure the bomber is fixed yet. The shuttle title is good, but at that point it's like a whole new ship. We haven't seen guidance chips though, so it's too early to tell.

I think if it had a PS8/9 Defender it'd be perfect.

As it stands, it's merely NIGH-perfect.

The poker aspect of X-Wing during the dial phase is what makes it awesome. The fact that you must commit to a move is wonderful. Will he do what I think he will do? Does he know what I will do next?... The tension, the feeling of insecurity, doubting yourself or going all in... this exact gaming moment is found nowhere else, and that's what makes this game the best one in my book.
