For the lazy, the relevent part is:

Keyan Farlander, equipped with Fire Control System, Opportunist, Heavy Laser Cannon, B-Wing E/2, and Ezra Bridger. It stacks up to 52 points, but has the potential to be hilarious.

It's absolutely awful, and will never win any kind of competitive game ever, but it has serious potential to be a laugh, if nothing else.

4 B-wings and a Z-95 Headhunter tends to work well.

B-wings can be used from cheap generics to stacked out aces. They have so much versatility in their builds, you just should try some, Farlander with HLC and Opportunist for example (together with Wes Janson in an X-wing) or Ten Nunb with a Mangler Cannon, or just 2 blue squadrons with 2 Y-wings, or 2 daggers with 2 X-wings, or just basically any squad with one B-wing hiding in the back. I have not even begun with adding crew-members, but then again, that is less my style with these. But that doesn´t mean it couldn´t work for you.

Conclusion:

B-wings rock!

Honestly been messing around with b-wing and upgraded engines + FCS, and it's not bad. I wouldn't say its the best, but it does give you options.

If your area doesn't see a lot of TLTs, then B-wings are as viable as they ever were.

Blue Squadron Pilots with Tactician and/or FCS are great value.

Bwings are vicious against ships. Their movement is lacking but if you follow these 3 steps:

Step 1: get the bwings on target.

Step 2: ????

Step 3: profit.

(I don't remember if any missions let you change out your missile load on the defender missions, but editing the missions was a breeze and putting what ever warhead you wanted was fun)

Agreed on the generics. B-wings are very reliable 'generic' fighters - the system and crew slots are very powerful, and the fighter's toughness is based on its massive shields, not dice rolls, so it's less susceptible to the Octahedrons Of Inevitable Betrayal.

It's slow, but manoeuvrable - Fire Control/Advanced Sensors mean you can use the red moves without hurting yourself too much. As noted, it's one of the best knife fighters up close - It's only real rival is the TIE/fo

Aces can be very powerful indeed but become expensive quickly because you have to many upgrade slots to fill....

Had a great night running Ten Numb (w/ VI, FCS, Mangler Cannon, and EU) along side Super Dash.
