We're back in black, ladies and gents!
this time, the matchup is slightly different from the heaver clone I last fought with this list. The generic TLT + Z-95 have been schlorped into Advance Sensors, Stay on Target Keyan. R3-a2, god of stress, resides within a Gray Squadron Pilot.
I the approach:
all's well
things generally go **** up if Deathrain is directly behind the Advance, as it greatly limits the crazy **** he can do
II: Shenanigans
r3-a2 + conner nets needing an action = no bueno
fortunately, Deathrain has his own ways of dealing with the annoying droid
Deathrain, Tie Giverofzerof***s
III: Piece Trading
The Advance eat into the 1 agi Keyan Farlander, Tie Advance #1 gets rocked by Keyan and the TLT Y
Poe reminds us all why unmodified dice suck ass
IV: A helpful PSA
After 3 banking with Deathrain, I opted to focus as conner netting Poe was a dicey prospect and I didn't see a way for him to engage without losing his actions anyway
good thing I focused, too
let this be a lesson to all bomb enthusiasts, conner nets are narrow
anyway, in the ensuing bloody hairball, Keyan is exchanged for a Tempest Squadron pilot as the rest of the squad books it
V. One bomb per turn limit SUCKs
completely forgot about it, too
opted for a block, instead
unmodified Poe is enchanted and never rolled less than one natural evade, but that's why you bring AC
VI. No one puts stress Y in a corner
In a list with such late game potential, you're often forced to ignore the r3-a2 Y in favor of more potent targets
funny thing about r3-a2 is he has a way of making you regret tactically sound decisions
