So I saw it pop up on our businesses sheets here in Europe that its being shipped on Wednesday to retailers here in Europe but on checking the upcoming page here it shows on boat. Mmmmm !. Looks like wave 8 got delayed too.

I would like to think it would be here then, but on the bright side FFG's article on the T-70 and TIE-FO stated that they wouldn't be the only ships released this month. So if not next week then soon.

They were certainly implying that the gozanti and the 2 force awakens expansions were going to be out this month.

It would seem likely that it would change to shipping now next week. It is not out of the realm of possibility for them to release next week, but the week after seems like a safer bet.

One of the guys that works at the Canadian distributor said that the T-70 and TIE/fo should be out to the stores here this week, and the Gozanti next week. The blister packs are apparently supposed to hit stores just as TFA is opening, and the epic just in time for Christmas.

Aye that would new interesting. Europe may get it first its happened before. Last armada wave we lagged by a week but when wave 7 was out it was the same week. Who knows it was just on our new release sheet with it being all out the coming week. Naturally we getting some in .

From a pure quantity standpoint, the Gozanti is going to give you two TIE Models, the Gozanti itself, a great deal of new pilots and a ton of upgrades for Epic ships that can be used for both Imperial and Rebels (Ordnance Tubes, for example).

The Raider is going to give you the Emperor, a TIE Advanced model, the TIE/X1 title as well as other fantastic Epic Crews / Teams, most of which are Imperial-only.

In terms of the most bang for your buck, the Gozanti is the way to go. For iconic characters and a breath of life-giving air into an old and iconic Star Wars fighter, go with the Raider.

So... you said pick one. I'd go with the Gozanti. It's cheaper, and everyone's wallet begins to hurt this time of year. Plus those blue-ish TIE Fighters are sweet.

Both are good choices for epic. For standard play? Neither adds, THAT much, to be honest, and it really depends on how much you want to fly TIE Advanceds, which are basically useless without the title. I'd personally go with the Gozanti (cheaper, more ships, I love TIE Fighters), but that's just my preference. I think I also like Kallus more than Palpatine. Still, Vader and Palpatine are very solid meta choices. Whether Kallus and Wampa will be, who knows, but I doubt their impact will be all that significant.

considering when the Gozanti first went on the boat it should be out first. but I suspect FFG/Mouse are really pushing to get the new T-70 and FO ties out at the same time as the movie. wish they would just ship the stuff when it was available.. but who knows.. lol

I am planning on having both. I love the Gozanti and I think that may be a good addition to your collection. However if you ever really want a squad of TIE Adv. then you'll mostly like need the Raider too. Maarek Stele, Juno Eclipse, etc. can be a lot of fun.

For RPG /Narrative purposes it occurs to me that the TIE/INQ would make an excellent medium range recon platform for a recon based squadron.

Shields. Hyperdrive

Folding for stowage/atmospheric landing with ease of access to cockpit.

While Black Omega will remain my spec ops squadron. I think Grey-Spectre will be my light recon squadron...

EDIT: it turns out that those suckers do not have hyperdrives. Limiting their recon capacity massively.
