Sensor Team how do this upgrade work in practice?

By Kiwi Rat, in Star Wars: Armada Rules Questions

Spend one dice: Does this mean you can spend a blank one?

I.e. You roll two blank reds and one red with a hit/double hit/critical.

Can you then spend the first blank dice to convert the second blank dice to an accuracy? Improving the remaining dice(s), with one or more hits, to do maximum damage.

Or must the dice you spend, have some sort of hit on it?

A Blank Die is still a Die. Thus it may be Removed to Trigger, and Changed.

The only requirement is that you spend a Die.

Not a Hit, Not a Crit.

A Die.

(That, and exhaust the card, too)

And that the Die you change, changes to an ACC result.

So although its entirely possible to spend a blank Black die to trigger the Sensor Team, you could not use Sensor Team on a Black Die, as it has no ACC side.

Contrast this with H9 Turbolasers, which require you to Spend a Hit or a Crit to make an Acc.

I understand you but to not confuse people I will tell that h9 doesn't require to spend any hit or crit. It just changes a hit or crit to an acc.
