Newbite rule questions

Hi Heroes,

My question

1) How many token has Lord Margath ? seven ?

2) What happen with exploring or test abilities quest, when you failed to do it in your tun? Its discarded like fighting quests?

3) Lord Margath or others villains?

1)Yes, seven. In the first act, all the monsters have 5 tokens, you add a sixth for all the monsters for the second act and then the boss has their own. So the final boss will always have seven.

2)For EVENTS, you have to choose one of two options and resolve immediately as much as possible. Usually if you fail you discard. The exception is RUMOUR options, where you keep the card and wait until you can fulfill the conditions - usually a competition with another hero. QUESTS on the other hand you keep until you finish. When you use an action to explore at the appropriate location, if you cannot fulfill one of the (usually 3) outcomes OR if you do not get the result you want, you can keep the card and use another action later to try again.

3)Not sure what you are asking here.

Another newbie and and other questions:

1.what is the difference between surge(the lightning bolt on the tokens?) and Exert?

2. How do they come into play and differ?

3.When do Tests come in play and how do THEY work?

1&2: by Exerting we indicate the act of discarding a card from your hand. This can be done to reroll a terran die (both used for movment or while resolving an Explore action), or to draw one more card from the skill deck during a test. Surges are special abilities that are triggered as combat action by spending a surge result from your cast token pool

3. Some cards (usually from the Social encounter, or some Skills you may learn during the game) instruct you to test a specific attribute (Body, Spirit, Mind). When an attribute is to be tested, you reveal cards from the skill deck equal to your attribute current value, and see if the cards you reveal present some successes (a small star-like symbol on the bottom right of the skill card) or not
