Lightsaber vs modern ballistics

Do you know what happens when you pull a gun someone is holding while their finger is on the trigger?

If you’re pulling on the trigger mechanism from the other side, it’s going to be real hard to fire that weapon.

Given that trigger mechanisms are pretty common in Star Wars, I would expect a Jedi to be aware of that.

Yeah they pull blasters out of people's hands all the time. Blasters have triggers too, and it isn't a problem. So I'm not sure why you think a slug-thrower would be any different.

Didn't seem to work for Ki-Adi-Mundi.

Whereas it worked fine for Darth Vader on Cloud City.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. No guarantees.

Only a Sith deals in absolutes anyways.

Vader only had one blaster to worry about, and knew Han's reaction based upon the smuggler's reputation. Ki-Adi-Mundi had dozens of blaster rifles to deal with and no time to prepare before the Clone Troopers opened fire. Markedly different situations.

Coleman Trebor.

Jedis are punks.

You may be able to find the video on YouTube of a forged, Japanese master smith made katana vs a .50 call M2 machinegun. The sword successfully cut a lower caliber round in half (or something close to) and survived a shot or two from the M2. Light saber would win vs any current weapon.

In star wars lore a light saber doesnt "reflect" (like is does with energy weapons) bullets or slugs as the rules call em. Insted if the projectile is small enough the light saber will instantly melt or insinerate it. But when talking about shotguns well theres no way a saber will stop all the shots...but a force push would.

"The primitive alien fires his weapon, belching smoke, flame, and hundreds of small metal particles at you, which then slow, stop, and fall harmlessly to the ground. Your Protect roll absorbed all of the damage."
