Hey everyone, I'm new to any kind of miniature painting. I just got a Mel Liberty in WSF. I just primed it (lightly with a light grey). Now I need some color help. My goal is to copy the FFG Home One colors and details as close as possible at table distance. What colors would you recommend?
Painting Question
I'm starting to experiment with Reaper Master Series "Moldy Skin" (09149) as a very close comparison to the basic colour... Its an ever-so-slightly green grey.
Then definately, a Black wash for all of the blacklining...
Although I'm sure someone else might have a colour that's closer.

As the resident forum idiot, it's my job to ask - why would you want to (re)paint it the same colors you already had?
Different ship. He wants it to match the Home One. Vallejo green grey or Stone Grey are both similar matches. One is obviously greenish where the other is more of a natural stone. I am going to try paneling my Liberty so I may use both.

Ah, for some reason I read that as OP naming the ship. And I've only affirmed my idiot status.
Yeah, its that Green-Grey basecoat which is likely to be the tricky one to get... Its bluer in the actual film the more times I go back to see it...
Thanks for the help guys!
