I know most don't like him but he does well forme. Anyone agree?

Chewbacca is good, he's just expensive.

You would think more people would use him. Vader is more expensive and he's used all the time. Vader comes with a lot more Command Cards that amp his presence. But for three points less, you get a three die attack that stuns, and that's pretty good.

Chewy's white die does him better than Vader's extra black, what with more evades.

I think the reason most don't take him is that the perceived values of other units make them better for the points. Luke and Gideon give you two activations and 2 extra points to use, for example.

If I'm fighting Vader I really want him on my team. I like him better than the Royal Guard Champion, but it's close.

I'd rather have the RGC in most cases (Brutality is just awesome, and that massive Speed is great), but against Vader, Chewie is certainly the better choice. Stun and Slam = neutralized Vader.

Not really neutralized. There are plenty of ways to un-stun a unit- especially since he probably has several 2 cost leaders running around to help him out.

You say that like stunning Vader is just a forgone conclusion. More than likely you need at least 5 damage to deal one damage, and that is before even worrying about stun. Plus, he probably has his own set of Royal Guards, so you need not only 6 damage, but to hope they aren't holding a bodyguard card. Stunning Wookies is pretty easy. RGC and Chewbacca, a bit harder. Vader? A whole level and then some higher.

I am going to be playing this list in a tournament this Friday. I am hoping it will do some damage. I played Mercenaries last time and failed due to my support being too squishy. I play for the fun of it and really don't plan for a solid win. I have a fully painted Wookiee list.
