We are knee deep into wave 2 and as a look back what ships/squads are we liking the most of and playing the most? Could be different or the same for play and like.
(For post 1750 thought something fun would be in order)

Edited by CubanboyCR90s. I've run one list once without them (and that was my "Yay Wave 2 is here, lemme play with the new shiny" list). They're just so much fun to fly.
I really am liking the CR-90 strangely the most and I play the VSDs a ton. I love the tie fighters and have not played a game without them. In fact next Armada game might just be 16 Ties vs 10 Xwings no ships.
The ISD is the ship I wanted from the start and what I tried to fly the Vic as, but that Raider is simply so much fun. I can see why CR90's are popular. Although if I have to be honest...nothing beats swarming Firesprays.
Lets see, I've only just got my ISD's, Mc80, and Mc30 so this is all just a Wave 1+ Raider retrospective. The ship I play the most is hands down the 'Jack of all Trades' Assault Frigate Mk.II, but the one I like the most is the Raider. Like RazelKorr said, Raiders are just so much fun to fly.
As far as Squadrons go, I've played Y-wings the most but I like TIE interceptors more... Y-wings are still second place though.
Demolisher.
Demolisher.
I always picture Speed Racer at the helm. That 'M' on the Gladiator makes it look like the Mach 5 to me.
VSDs, with Motti & Rhymer or Foresight MC30 with Mothma and Salvation Neb B.
Glad + Demolisher + ACM/EL/APT + ET if I have the points (I try to make room for those points). Wonder what the data shows on ACM, EL, and APT for damage per point spent upgrading.
Least favorite. Neb B far and away. Hope they come out with both a point fix via a free title or at least a very cheap title card or something, but it will be a long time for that. Maybe and upgrade allowing another slot for free at th bare minimum. They won't concede failure so soon. If the existing title cards were free, I would buy into them but now wave 2 is here I can finally let those rust.
As too the rest of the ships that are all great, just hope wave 3 fills in some point voids: between the AF and Home one for the rebels and between VSDII and ISD I for imperials. Two more ships in the 54-63 point range would be nice as well for both.
old trusty tie fighters! I take as many as i can squeeze in every game i play and every game im surprised at how well they perform en masse.
As for ships: played with multiple VSD lists mainly. Now im trying different configurations of ISDs/VSDs/Ties and upgrades. I feel the vsd is more cost effective than the ISD, but man that speed three and ECM are nice and shiney!
The Tie-Interceptor is my favorite. For a 37.5% price increase over the basic Tie-fighter you get double the anti squadron firepower (taking into account counter 2) and 1 more movement. I always take at least 2 squadrons.

I think we will see an Aces Pack at some point in the future based on X-wing I think its a safe bet.
Wave 1 ships: I really like the corvette but I keep trying to make the Salvation work too. The whale also tends to find a spot in many of my lists (even after wave 2).
Wave 1 squadrons: Regular TIEs for their cost and the ability to delay Rebel squadrons. Wedge and Dutch usually filled out my Rebel squadrons along side the amazing A-Wing.
Wave 2 ships: I've snuck the Raider in more Imperial lists than the ISD and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
Wave 2 squadrons: Empire is the Firespray hands down with Rhymer. I've sunk more ships with these guys than anything else. For the rebels, I've only liked Nym and Jan but not enough to where I use them in every list.
MC30 with upgrades. MC30 scout with TRC, APT, OE, Lando, and one of the titles. Second to that is TRC CR90a's. Squadron-wise, probably the YT-2400, but the Firespray-31 is up there too. I actually really like all the squadrons though.
MC30 Torpedo Frigate with Ackbar, TRC, OE, and ACM. I like killing ISDs outright with 80-point ships.
Salvation just keeps on finding its way back onto my lists.
MC80 is my favorite ship in the game, so prob that.
MC30 its crazy fun because of the odd maneuvering.
AF most used. Funny cuz I started Imp.
1CR pretty fun.
and Awings most used
B wings most fun
My ship would have to be the Raider. It just looks great and is a neat ship to use. My current list uses 3 and has seen a lot of table time already. Squadrons is tougher, I use a large mix. I would say more often then not its the Y-wing however. Its cheap, its durable, and it kills Gladiators.
Salvation and Yavaris are the beginning of every Rebel fleet list I build, I never leave space dock without them, because I love me the NebB.

I agree with the first three upgrades and maybe lando but it starts becoming a point sink at some point that it meant to get in and get go quick. I get the idea of the last two helping the ship survive but maybe it's job is to die. And those other points can be spent on the stuff doing the Clean up work. The MC30 was a necessary ship for the Rebel, more so than the MC80 by a little. Love TRC ADT and OR experts though can't really do their mission without those in my builds. I am sure others have more creative uses then I have divined, but give me this standard in any rebel list...the rebels needed a brawler. Demolisher with APT and ET is still my favorite of the demo builds I think, but practice will have to prove that with screed of course.
Certainly down on Vader. Can't wait to see all the neat stuff others have found a use far that I have thus far be unable. I was hope for the Akbar of the Imperials. Not broadsides and all mind you...just that good. But since the Rebels needed the latest wave more it will be interesting for sure.
I don't have wave 2 yet. From wave 1 my favorite ship is Gladiator especially with Demolisher. My favorite squadron is Tie/Int. I think swarm is great and Howl is queen of this ability

While yes, I agree it can get to be a point sink, but if you use it right that little added survivability means you might not die at all. I'd rather spend 12 more points and live, than give 80 to my opponent.
