Oh Lord Palpatine, please, PLEASE, give us a good dial for The Inquisitor.
What new negative do rebels get to ignore this time
You do make a good point on one of the Imperials strength and that is to have consistent results. Sure Imperials are still playable they did make the top cut. But the new stuff they are getting is less than stellar. When you look at the new releases from Wave 7 through 8 It is like being that kid at Christmas getting only a sweater while your cousins get a new RC car and a new xbox/playstation/nintendo.
Comm Relay? Advanced V1? I wish my Xwing had that kind of sweater...

this is "the grass is greener" syndrome dialed up to well over 11
we just had the ghost previewed and we're already declaring the unspoiled tie/v1 to be bleh in its wake
gotta tell ya, the promise of an ability that powerful on top of the amazing FOs we're already getting have me more than satisfied
the only release that has any business being called lukeluster thus far is the non-epic component of the Gonzati (Apart from Wampa, who is just ridiculous) and that is only because the Raider's non-epic components were so awesome they kicked the motherloving Tie Advance right out of the lowest notch on the X-wing totem pole
after all, compared to the transport (literally just r3-a2?) and the cr-90 (c3po + r2d2), it's pretty on par
Edited by ficklegreendiceI think the biggest negative that Rebels have to ignore is the fact that the Phantom's dial and stats imply some sort of tryst between a Y-Wing, a B-Wing and a Z-95. That's probably why there's no generic. Nobody wants to recreate what happened that night.

I don't think the PS3 has been spoiled, though.
Ps3 ghost, there is no generic phantom shuttle. I am bettung the ps3 ghost is 35 points.
Anyone else find this ironic:
Ship with Ezra (crew) + Gunner vs ship with Rebel Captive...
OP: Shush.
oh great
what positives do imperials get to ignore this time?
hint: it's green dice
I mean, being able to change ANY of your dice once per round? You might as well not even roll to attack Soontir when he's on the field!
What key game mechanic will the Imperials get to ignore next?
(lets keep this going please
)
speaking of ignoring game mechanics, FREE ACCURACY CORRECTORS NEVER ROLL DICE
also, ADVANCED TARGETING COMPUTER ADDS RESULTS REGARDLESS OF ROLL!
appropriately, the ATCs and AC coupons came in the same pack as the emperor
belated sky is falling!
next on the docket: Darth Vader (both versions, ignoring action limit on one and dice on the other), Deathrain (Front bombs!? wtf is this unholiness?) and Carnor Jax (but focus is the most ubiquitous action in the game
!?)

Are you sh*tting me?
It's nothing like that. That's like getting a Rebels A-Wing released alongside a brand new base that's standard-legal and better than every other ship.
Which The Ghost, as someone who's flown ships with 0 Agility, is most certainly friggin' not.I'll definitely run it- hell it might be my main ship. But that doesn't make it the best.
*sets up 8 ships*
*rubs hands together and grins*
Goodbye, IHOP.

Reminder that even with an evade token, 4x AccCorr+Cluster Tempests will take the Ghost to within an inch of its life.

You got a point, nothing has been said about the TAP (aka TIE Inquisitor). It could turn out all right and even the best ship in Wave 8. But with what has been released with Wave 7 and the new Core set it appears that the rebels have received the lion's share. Coms relay can still be used by Red Ace, so the X-wing does have that sweater too. The epic expansions tend to have more for standard play now but that may be a detractor to other players, especially those that have no interest in playing Epic.
Well, we've got a week until the biggest Star Wars news release of the year happens, so there's that.
(I'm talking about the TAP preview article of course, though the Scum ones are arguably bigger~)
I used to think the game felt skewed, then I felt it kinda evened out with the Phantom. Then the Phantom skewed everything, so Imperials feel kinda jilted a bit. But then I found out Rebels got bombs, but Imperials didn't get turrets. Which sorta made me feel a little miffed again. Not because one or the other is overpowered, but because it was nice to be able to point to a specific type of mechanic that each side had access too. Since many of the upgrades could be used by both factions, I liked that each one had their one thing they could tout that the other side couldn't. But then they smeared that.
But still, Rexler, Heavy Laser Cannon and I all have a good laugh at the silly little future dust clouds on the other side of the mat.
I'm sorry does your butt hurt
Git gud
Guys the sky is falling okay? FALLLINNNGGGG
Guys Soontir Fel gets to move his ship TWICE after he moves. It's like his dial doesn't even matter. Pickin dials is a core game mechanic and he just says "Lol no I go where I want".

Much as im not fond of soontir...
Chewie Miranda: I can literally play a game where i roll the dial at random. If i fly off the put it back on or select another move. Watch, its the stupidest game youll ever play.

But yeah Imperials suck and you should never play Imperials at all if you want to win a game. Why do you think Paul Heaver wins worlds as rebels?
Does this mean the next Worlds that he wins, he will have either an Imperial or a Scum build!?!

chewie yes, Miranda no
see, thing about Miranda is she requires actual thought to play
if the opponent sticks to range 1, for example, you're stuck making either highly inefficient 4 dice attacks (hurting yourself) or piddly piece of **** 2 dice attacks (regenerating shields)
the K-wing has a PWT, but it sucks so it's actually a very involving ship to play
Woke up this morning ... feeling pretty despondent ... brain tumor and all ... kind of sickly and all ... didn't want to get out of bed ...
Opened up a browser, hit FFG, and read this thread ...
In absolute tears right now from laughing so hard. Just wanted to thank all participants for lifting my spirits !!!
By the way, in a first EVER, I utilized all of my LIKES in this SINGLE thread.

The rebels get to ignore the whole losing thing because rebels>imperials it's just science.
OP your original statement seems to point to you being too heavily invested in one faction to see the forest for the trees.
The HWK ignores about two thirds of the manouvers available in the game. Typical Rebels.
