Super excited to see Rebels finally getting interesting iconic crew at good price points. An awesome expansion.
Ghost part 2 article up!
You have seen the YT dials, right?I really -do not- like the dials.
there is EVERY availiable manouver on there. color red, white, or green doesn't matter -that- much.. on a freighter. and on a lego-brick-"shuttle". while most -fighters- .. well, I guess they aren't as nimble as a space-train..
some nice cards in there, though, brings new life in some ships, I hope.
still, very grumpy about the dials.
And both ships have proven to be exceptionally maneuverable.
Hera (crew) wins the game
FCS + k-turn + red turns (+ r2-d2 crew possibly) = who cares about stress?
Just more proof that rebels are for people who don't know how to fly. Everytime a new rebel card comes out I wonder what negative will it allow the rebels to ignore this time
Unless my math is wrong:
Heaver Poe
Chopper Ghost with autoblaster turret, scopes, Hera and Intel agent
Zeb with 2 points, probably another autoblaster turret IMO.
Think about that list if you are running imperial aces. What do you do?
I figured you would love how she enables super bombers. Conner Nets can now do 2 damage. Or if they are really unlucky with Cluster mines, hit one, get the damage, then hit a second token next turn. Theoretically, over 3 turns, you can have your single Cluster Mine do +3 damage. Hell, she can add damage to an Ion Bomb. Too bad we didn't get Thermal Detonators.
Are we 100% sure about this? Sabine's card says "Bomb Tokens". Technically, Conner Nets, Cluster Mines and Proximity Mines are Mines, not bombs - they are dropped in a different phase, as actions, and detonated on contact with the token rather than when you fly Range 1 of a token.
Seismic Charges, Proton Bombs and Ion Bombs for sure, but the others?
in this games mines and bombs are treated the same
Sabine's ability to add a bomb slot was expected, but I was expecting she'd be Ghost only.
So, now that we know all the upgrades available to it, is it possible to make a 100 point list with only the Ghost and Phantom in it?
Sabine crew, Proton Bombs, Extra Munitions, Adv. Proton Torpedoes seems like it would eat up a hefty chunk of points.
For some pilots, that would be terrible. Imagine Rhymer in a TIE fighter with the same ability.
Oh I agree. Like in the example I used, Maarek's ability really sucks without the ATC. So if you put him on any ship besides the Advanced and don't change his ability, he goes back to sucking.
Ghost only? Do you mean Rebels only?
Yeah, that's true about Maarek.

sadly, yes.
So Thermal Detonators is the one unspoiled card from the expansion now?

Hmm, I was thinking Zeb would be good on Chopper, actually. Though it only works in arc so maybe not.

There'a always at least one unspoiled, seems like.
Ghost only? Do you mean Rebels only?
Either is fine really. I'm just curious if you can do it without resorting to blatantly bad upgrade choices just to pad out points(for example, two adv. proton torpedoes instead of just one+extra munitions).
And yeah, you could limit it to Rebels guys only I guess.
Hera with Zeb and Sabine in the Ghost, Ezra with Kanan in the Phantom.

if they were treated differently they would have 2 different upgrades types but the upgrade type is caleed "bombs"

I love how this is just casually thrown in.
"Although the VCX-100 features a special firing arc from which it can fire any torpedoes it equips, and although any VCX-100 can equip a turret weapon, the Ghost is most effective when it is flown to catch foes at Range "1" in its primary firing arc." Well that explains the 2nd torpedo slot...

If they weren't treated the same then...
Genius' wording wouldn't need to say "that can be dropped when you reveal a maneuver"
The FAQ wouldn't list them all under "Bombs"
The Rules Reference wouldn't list them all under "Bombs"
Both cards that say "mine" and "bomb"- as well as conner nets -are all bombs in the sense of the rules.

Aren't we missing the generic Ghost pilot?

Was just thinking that.
Just on the ""Sabine crew can make bombs awesome!"
Dace Bonearm allows for double damage Ion cannons, Ion Bombs, Ion Projectors and Conner Nets (and Leebo crew) yet no one uses him, how is this any different?
The special firing arc does appear to have a torpedo icon on it.
Aren't we missing the generic Ghost pilot?
I suppose, but it's a generic pilot. It's not like there's a special ability to reveal.

Because Dace is a 23pt HWK pilot. Sabine is a 2pt crew that you can put on a K-wing. She also does not cause stress or require range.

We even no the PS; just not sure on the point cost.

Sabine doesn't cost 23 points on a ship that doesn't come with (real) weapons.
