Super Excited I have a new core set on the way to the house this weekend. Its been about a year since my last game of X-wing, I might be dusting off the ships and giving them a go.

I'm really looking forwards to our local Escalation tournament this Sunday, as I'm getting to fly the Kihraxz competitively for the first time. I'm really interested to see how they work out. :-)

Hope it's better than mine. I'm feeling sick and it's all starting to hit like a ton of bricks. I left game night last night early.

I did see at game night that someone found a Star Wars box at Michael's hobby store for $25 or so. He used the standard 40% coupon and got it for around $12? I know the math doesn't add up. I'm sick.

The epic ships can even fit in inside their plastic packaging from the original box. It's quite big.

Also played my 4 Tie Bomber list and had fun. I won vs. 3 Ace Tie Interceptors by the skin of my teeth. I played vs. a full regenerating list of Poe, Miranda, and R2D2 TLT Y-wing. I got the Y-wing and Poe, but couldn't get Miranda.

Trying to get through the gift list and still have enough in my pocket for the new Core set so I can fly a T-70 and actually Tallon Roll in a game. Theory is good, but my dials don't have it and not sure if I am doing it right in Vassal... but that is neither here nor there.

As for me, I have my Charlie Brown Christmas tree shirt on for the work lunch party today... just spreading the cheer all around!

...and I'll stick to my better priced Plano. Still...it's a neat box. I'd like one and then find a use for it!

I use Plano too... for all the tokens and dials and ship and upgrade cards. I just wanted a little extra protection because I knew I would be traveling with them.
