I have noticed a few people have used the core set contents to make their own additional quests.

To me this seems only a good thing as it gets people playing more, getting more involved and thus also more desperate for extra official cards and content... thus sales.

So I see this as possitive for FFG, thus is it possible please to have a sub forum for player created quests so that it keeps them all together and is also then an easy resource for new players.
