Nav Team + Ozzel

By Blail Blerg, in Star Wars: Armada Rules Questions

From what I've read here, if you change speed Ozzel will allow you to change speed by additional one. It shouldn't matter the source of the speed change, likewise no speed change no additional speed change. I don't normally play Imperials and this is based on what I've read here.

Well, considering that the Game Developers have spoken..... And what they say is law until they say otherwise...

Ozzel will let you change speed, even if you're using your Nav Token to Change Yaw instead.

Didn't see Dev's input. After first 3 pages I glazed over. Not the way I would have thought, but like you said they make the rules.

I really miss a sticky post containing current un-FAQued rulings...

I could do with some Beer.

I got a question someone was telling me yesterday that I could not up use my extra click from Nav team, or even a Nav command for that matter on movement sections marked -- only on sections of the tool marked l ? Anyone heard of this rubbish?

No, as it is absolutely Rubbish.

The rulebook specifically states that Yaw goes from - to I, and from I to II, and that II cannot be increased.

It does not state that - cannot be increased.

Page 13, RRG, "Yaw"

Yaw

A yaw value indicates the maximum number of clicks from the center position that the corresponding joint on the maneuver tool can be clicked. A yaw value of “-” means that the joint must remain straight.

• Yaw values vary by ship and speed as displayed on a ship card’s speed chart.

• When a yaw value of “-” increases by one, it becomes “I.” When a yaw value of “I” increases by one, it becomes “II.” The yaw value “II” cannot be increased.

Plus that would make the extra yaws super garbage if they could only be used on I.

YESSS OZZEL ERRATA FOR THE BETTER.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Eat my socks, you logick-wizerds.

Edit: 5 thousandth post!
