Do a Barrel Roll!

Just something fun I came up with using three Imperial ships with alternative barrel roll options. Not all cards are released yet.

"Echo" uses her crazy decloaking options to Outmaneuver and really pour the hurt on foes, especially Kallus' target. You can have re-rolls via Target Lock, mini Focus via Kallus, and Agility reduction via Outmaneuver all in one turn. Sensor Jammer, Outmaneuver, and Advanced Cloaking Device all combine to give TLT's no hope.

Lorrir sadly doesn't have many options in the way of upgrades. But Shield gives him 4 health like the other pilots, and Autothrusters is an obvious inclusion. He's not the most competitive pilot (lacking action efficiency) but his drifting barrel roll is a lot of fun on the table. Now if they'd just fix Yorr so absorbing the stress would work with pilots like Lorrir...

"Zeta" can carry an Evade until she needs it thanks to Comm Relay, effectively being a reusable Shield Upgrade. PtL and Engine allow a hard 1 into a boost into a super barrel roll that puts him behind his starting position and facing the other way. Sure it's just 2 Attack, but it sure is unexpected!

You could also trim down the upgrades quite a bit to squeeze in an Academy for extra firepower and blocking.

That looks like a really fun list to fly with friends. I like it.

Echo screams out for Veteran Instincts. Her relatively low PS means that she will be getting shot at before cloaking. You can then use the extra points to beef up Lorrir.

Having tried FO's recently, I can confirm that despite relatively low Pilot Skill, Zeta Ace is "one squirrely little [swearwords]" to quote my opponent. Another - one use but much cheaper - option for ridiculous manoeuvring shenanigans is Adrenaline Rush. The ability to make a Segnor's Loop then a speed 2 Barrel Roll and not be stressed - meaning you can use your full dial the following turn - gives you one turn of leaving high PS boost-capable pilots with empty arcs of fire going "where the ?!?$£&! did that Eyepatch go now?"

I actually don't like VI that much on "Echo". She tops out at PS8, so a lot of aces will still be able to shoot her before cloaking anyway. In fact, I'm even starting to lean toward Stygium Particle Accelerator for the evade token, even if it means only pulling her maneuvering shenanigans every other round. And, sadly, this is as 'beefy' as Lorrir gets with no other upgrade slots. :(

Too bad this would autolose to Kanan Dash. It's a shame, looks like a fun list.
