A Phantom Meance or a Vicious Vessery? - List refining

So I have flown this list recently and its done alright!

It hits hard but I'm not the best Phantom player atm, any tips or refining that can be done?

Could the FCS be switched out for sensor jammer and then rebel captive down to Int Agent with all the TLTs around?

I have also thought of switching the Phantom for a VI & HLC Vessery (below)

This is a future squad, what do people think?

Omega leader wants to have a target lock, so thought he might pair well with Vessery but worried that Omega leader will just get focused down real quick!

I play a variation of the first two lists and love them. Colzet needs AC.

I've been flying a similar list and having fun and success with it:

Vader w/ x-1, ATC, lone wolf & engine = 36

Whisper w/ VI, rebel captive, FCS & ACD = 42

Avenger w/ autothrusters = 22

100

The nice thing about Vader and Whisper together is that I don't need an initiative bid. If I'm up against another PS9 and I'm given initiative, then Whisper is my closer. If the opponent gets initiative, then Vader is my closer. Also, Vader can take rebel captive stress for Whisper, which is also nice. Lastly, the avenger is there for blocking high PS aces. The interceptor dial and action bar makes it the best blocker in the game. The only reason its not an alpha pilot is because I don't need a blocker against PS1-2 and being able to shoot before PS2 is a nice advantage these days...

As to your lists, I would say stick with Whisper instead of Vessery. With only 42 points to work with, you aren't getting as effective use with Vessery (he wants at least veteran instincts and possibly a hull upgrade as well).

If you are planning on running Omega Leader in the future, you can't forget comm relay. In fact, his ability has such obvious synergy with Juke, I think the 'standard' Omega leader is alreaady becoming juke + comm relay for 26 points. Seems expensive for a TIE fighter, but as long as you don't put him in bad spots, he's fairly potent for that price...

I will stick with the list and try to plan my setup with Whisper a little better.

I would be tempted to change FCS for SJ but then I'm worried Whisper just wont hit as hard and not get that focus on cloaking.

I might also take your advice and swap out FCS for AC on Colzet. I know he's going to hit even after a K turn and then take the Target lock when I'm out of arc or see an opportunity for it to come into play!

Dark curse doesn't always have to take his action for defence so a target lock might help, plus I don't own a third FO!
