So its store championship talk time i have 3 goals. Play in at least 3 store championships place top 16 at one of them and play at regaionals. So i ask my self what will pepole be flying me personal i am torn between dusting of the crit machine ethan and z 95s or poe horton and stress bot

Im wondering what people think the meta will look like. I think the emperors and escorts will be high but what else?

Thing you're likely to see:

• The Emperor in a shuttle and two aces. Vader & Fel seem popular
• Poe Dameron with R5-P9
• Stressbots (particularly in response to the popularity action-dependent aces - see above)
• Miranda Doni
• TIE swarms with Crack Shot
• Y-wings with Twin Laser Turrets
• ....The same things you saw before. People will still fly Admiral Chiraneau/Dash Rendar/Chewbacca with escorts. Just because you'll suffer on Margin of Victory when playing them doesn't mean they won't actually win their games; a manoeuvrable ship with the Boost action and a turret is still **** tasty
• Wave 8 stuff (depending on release date) - TIE/fo packs and (tougher) X-wings.

Poe, Horton and a Gold with R3-A2 is a nice list which reflects what a lot of people used at worlds and are seeing in local stores. It has a good (if action-dependent) ace, and a guy good at shutting down the other side's action-dependent aces, and a flexible turret.

Etann and the Headhunters (the well-known Prog Rock band) is an interesting one but will need a bit of tweaking to take on some targets; I know from painful experience with TIE fighters that a 2-dice attack struggles to hit people like IG-88, Vader, Fel, Luke and Poe. It doesn't matter if the dice roll was a [boom] or [kaboom] if the attack misses.

Etann and 4-5 bandits can make a nice mess of a big ship if you can catch it in arc (you may need to delegate one Z-95 as a blocker). Alternatively, you could swap them up to X-wings (or B-wings) - fewer attacks, but more likely to hit - once Integrated Astromech arrives, they may have the toughness to act as decent wingmen.

I also think that you will encounter a few Brobot players along the way, as that list is still pretty strong.
