Is there a compiled list of cybernetic implants, replacements, etc? Cant find one.
Implants
Why did I think this thread was going to be about something far more salacious?
I know there's a compiled list of equipment of all sorts but I can't find a reference to it... I'll keep looking but I'm sure someone will beat me to it. In the meantime, Oggdude's Another Character Generator has all that stuff in it and you can filter down to the specific sort of gear you're looking for. It'll even give you references to where you'll find it n hardcopy for all the juicy bits.
Everything that has transpired has done so by my design...
Thank you very much!

The last time I heard someone say that, it didn't go well for him.

Yeah, wasn’t that Fred’s brother Steve? ![]()
Don't forget the new Technitians sourcebook will be out first Q of 2016, i'm sure there will be more stuff in there.
Slightly related: How do you guys deal with Droid implants? My group has found a relatively stable source of cybernetic implants if we desire to use those, yet they argue a Droid would not be able to use them since it lacks the biological parts that make those tick.
Would you limit this to a narrative problem in which the Droid in question has to find an equivalent to his desire or should there be actual rule changes? Like price, mechanics checks or the like? And if you have a skilled mechanic, should he be able to install this in order to save some hard earned credits?
It is at this point you might realize I don't ask for entirely selfless reasons of knowledge. Any input on this would be appreciated; although I doubt our GM would let any price changes pass, in order to keep it fair to others.
Droids specifically have Cybernectic hard point that they use to upgrade themselves with cybernetics. Just because they work with biological doesn't mean it won't on a purely mechanical
One of my players is a droid and is looking forward to loading himself up with cybernetic implants ;P

Neat, thank you very much.
I'd say that it's even easier to integrate cybernetics with droids as they can bypass the organic/binary interface and plug directly into the part.
FFG did themselves (and us) a favor and ditched writing surplus rules for droid attachment akin to cybernetics. It's not needed, a droid can use any cybernetik thingamajig he wants. If it sounds to organic, just change it a bit, like eye to photoreceptor and so on.

For droids, don't think of cybernetics as "mechanical grafted to biological". Think of cybernetics as being more like upgrades to existing components. Sure, those base model legs are just fine, but the Binford 5000 legs buff your Brawn nicely. ![]()
