Love skirmish. Hate campaign. Anyone else like this? Chewie is favorite character to use. Any build suggestions?

Chewie is cool but costs a ton.

You can go with something like:

15 Chewie

14 2x Elite Sabs

5 Jyn

3 Gideon

2 C3P0

1 Balance of the Force

Decent firepower and everybody can stun, which is neat. Hard to hold objectives though, since Jyn or sabs die easily without the protection buffs from chewie/3p0, so you need to plan out how you're going to win on points without contesting objectives well. Some maps will basically be impossible.

I'm the same. I don't hate the campaign, I just already have Descent, and that is more than fine for me. But Skirmish rocks.

I prefer X-Wing minatures for my 1v1 tabletop fix.

I hated the campaign until I got the app to help manage it.

The campaign is amazing, but youre probably not the only one that hates it. If I wanna play a 1v1 battle game, I play Summoner Wars.

I've not played Decent, so IA scratches a rather specific itch for me. Namely, the desire to DM with the guards taken off, not to improve the story, or to make for a good narrative, but to sit across the table and to destroy without restraint, within a set of rules that provides the balance for both sides.

I like ia 1vs 1. I also play armada. Idk why but I just can't get into campaign

I've owned Imperial Assault since release. And haven't campaign at all. I know I'd love it if it happened. But it's really difficult for me to get 4 other people to commit to it. And it also means I have to neglect all my other games whilst I'm doing it.

So skirmish for me, IS Imperial Assault. I don't think it gets the plaudits or coverage it deserves. Although I've done a few blogs on it.
