WEE-Oop-WOOT!

Huzzah
Finally, we can use t65s again (if you weren't proxying already) and also t70s that aren't Poe
Also gives FOs something to do that normal ties can't
also we can finally use El Presidente
How long does shipping to sale usually take? 5 days or so?
Yeah more or less...

Indeed!
Omega "el presidents" for president!
Sadly, don't think he'll go well with juke + comma. You just know he'll juke, then TL, then lose his evade to a lucky shot and ya gotta start all over again

UPS just delivered my Miniatures Mart order which includes them three TFA Coresets from their holiday sale... now these babies are coming VERY soon too, and The BOSS Toy Fund is dry for the rest of the month.

The T-70 and TIE/FO shipping in time for Christmas? And The Force Awakens?
It was inevitable...
Yup but all this unannounced no spoiled rushed to be a pre-movie release still reeks with the Mark of the Mouse!

i believe the dial and the command of El Presidente will be enough bravado to force some hard targeting of a ship that can easily snuff out his competition... which would leave his support fire to murder the competition.
i know it isnt much, but i played a game against myself using the Palp n Friends list, and El presidente with Whisper and Jax and the Presidente list ended up on top... (dice were not with Fel that day... and palp can only do so much.)

My local movie theaters have film times on the 17th. Are they wrong?
Thinking about it a little more, I'm pretty sure they are shipping now but might be held in store for a December 18th release.
16th I hope.
My local movie theaters have film times on the 17th. Are they wrong?
Probably not ... My tickets are for 745pm central on the 17th..
And I took the day off on the 18th to see it a couple more times..
One of each to start, probably get a second of each sooner than later as in, the moment I bring 1 more T-70 home and have a pair instead of a trio...
I couldn't wait to own a second... bought a second TFA Core when they went on mega sale. Looking forward to getting new pilots! Flying 3 or 4 of these should be fun.
I'm just hopping it comes with more than just 1 integrated Astromech mod. I'm already upset that TFA Core only came with one copy of Wired and only 1 of each new Tech card!!
Only 1 copy of IA is included. No $15 blister has had multiples and the preview image clearly shows only one copy in the spread.
The Starviper had two autothruster cards, but yes, space is limited and that is rare.

It is officially released on the 18th in North America but where a while ago it was early release are at midnight now early movie releases in NA are allowed to be the day before after 7 PM.

StarViper, K-Wing, and TIE Punisher are all $20 blisters, no? Each of those has had a double - Autothrusters, TLT, TIE Mk.II.

Let us not forget that the $15 Y-Wing blister had two copies of Proton Torpedoes.

And it could equip everything that was in the pack. This was also Wave 1, when FFG was operating under the cute idea that a ship would actually try to fill all of its torpedo slots.
The $20 blisters also seem to at least try to follow the justification of "The ships are larger than standard blisters." I'm sure that if they had been around during Wave IV, they would have used it for the Defender.
The $20 blisters are a result of needing new packaging. They just decided, that with a new packaging and a new price point, might as well add some more cards than the standard expansions.
Hey, I am X-Wing rookie. My brother and I have bought two TFA core sets and switched the aircrafts. So I have two T70s and I'm tempted to get another one. Is it a good start of a squadron you think?
It's as good a start as any! Back when I started, all we had were X-wings, Y-wings, TIE Fighters, and the TIE Advanced. Getting two cores and an X-wing was pretty common back then. No reason not to start that way now. Just enjoy your X-wing flight group and slowly expand. Have fun with what you have and don't worry about trying to catch with anyone else or get the fanciest cards. Just enjoy flying some sweet Resistance fighters!

Sorry, I couldn't help myself! I just got too excited to see a Pokemon!

If the Defender was released post Force Awakens, the only generic would be a PS 3 with an elite talent for 25 points, and the named pilots would all be 7 points cheaper. To bad they never straight up errata pilot cards.
