Jake Farrell (28)

Push The Limit (3), Chardaan Refit (-2), A-Wing Test Pilot (0), Autothrusters (2), Veteran Instincts (1)

Rebel Operative (24)

Ion Cannon Turret (5), Recon Specialist (3)

I like the idea of Jake and Corran being able to boost and barrel roll to stay out of arcs and do some damage, although won't be quite as easy to lose the stress the double tap means he can just turtle with a focus and evade behind defence 3 dice and regen where hits get through.

Jake is just Jake really and is built for staying out of trouble and although I was torn between VI and outmanoeuvre being able to go last is pretty much key.

It's the last ship that is really giving me trouble. The above is an option as can use the ion cannon for control but tlt and intelligence agent is also tempting. The other option is either Arvel or Gemmer with PTL and a refit or a Green Squadron with PTL, refit and autothrusters.

Anyone got any views on this.

Ps, my love of a wings is unconditional

Yeah, filling the last 24 points will always be problematic in a list like this, because ultimately, whatever you put there will be infinitely easier to kill than your other two ships, so it will always be the first thing that dies.

I think a y-wing with twin laser turret is your best choice. At least you can keep it away from enemy ships a bit better than any other option you have, and so it might not die instantly when shot at....

The alternative I think would be a pair of bandits. They can fly interference for Corran and possibly block to make corran's shots count even more. They will still die quick though, but at least at 12 points apiece, you don't really care.

I'd be worried about being able to effectively arc dodge with a PS of only 8. Darth, Soontir, VI Poe, etc. will be moving after you and that makes it very difficult to stay out of their arcs.

But if you are looking to fill 24 points, Gold Squadron TLT fits the bill pretty well. And it makes for excellent ace bait.

I think the bonus with having Corran is depending on who I face I can either boost and barrel roll for the arc dodge or just take a more conventional approach with a focus/tl or focus evade depending on the position

And unfortunately I have no headhunters or y-wings yet
