Replace stay on target and navigator with gunner. Or put ion projector and the emperor on him for crashing ion fun.

I want to try Intimidation, Mara Jade and the title. My problem is working out what to back him up with; something agile or tough enough to survive to escort him into position, coz' he'll be hard to get into the right spot against Aces.

Just playing with something here, but the Defender gives you that Initiative you're going to need against, say, Soontir, and gives you an option it Ion enemies and set them up for some AWFUL Decimator ramming shenanigans (Ionized loop for 2 auto damage each round, possibly).

Edit: Or feel free to swap out Palpy for your preferred setup, you'll have the points for it.

I like:

Daredevil + Engine + Dauntless + Crew of your choice (Gunner + Vader is fun here, or just Palpatine).

SoT is a good choice though. Maybe you should put on a single Intelligence Agent so SoT + Navigator gains some value vs high PS ships.

Oicunn is just a blast

Put predator on the captain. Its 45 points of awesomeness. leaves a lot of room for...

I recently tried out this list. It's not top tier competitive, but it is a very mean list. Everything is PS4, so you can move and shoot in whatever order makes the most sense. Generally use the Advanced's ACs to take down the enemy shields, then crit them with Vader. Then you can finish them off with a bump from Oicunn next round. I almost always take the evade action with the Advanced, since the don't need the focus or target lock for offence. This helps their durability a lot.

Oicunn is super fun to play... I love running him with Vader and Ruthlessness myself, keeps him cheap and mean, also he gets to laugh in the face of Biggs.

For your list... I dunno about Navigator, it is a good upgrade but with Oicunn moving earlier than most aces, you can line up the crashes pretty easily.

Something you might want to try, get Vader in the TIE Advanced and give him squad leader, then give Oicunn daredevil. That way Vader can get mad and throw Oicunn into people.
