To heck with tradition, my tree is a star wars xmas tree!

By Gadge, in X-Wing Off-Topic

Luckily the wife thought having a 'death star' on top of the tree was cool too and it spiralled a bit from there and we ended up having ships sprayed silver as decorations!

(dont worry they are soft plastic micro machines ones, not FFG ones!)

Fallout 4 and SW battlefront have destroyed any chance i have of being social or getting in table top gaming for a while so if i dont speak to any of you before, have a great holiday!

Nice.

No tree for us this year (or the foreseeable future) due to the unholy terror that is two Bengal cats. They would destroy that tree and ornaments faster than Whisper destroys an unarmed HWK.

Though I've started putting christmas lights around the display shelf!

And have a great holiday yourself, going to the new movie on the 16th?

I noticed something missing! Where are the Snowtroopers, Airspeeders, AT-ATs?

The Hoth missions being among the most atmospheric in Battlefront, along with Jakku.

Man, that tree is so great! Also loving the dangerous book for boys, remember that from my whippersnapper days!

We have tickets for the first showing on release day in the uk. We are going in imperial uniforms!

edit: i have about 16 cousins aged between 7 and 17 so 'the dangerous book for boys' makes you look like a god when you can do small magic tricks or point out constellations :)

I always give the older kids a copy when they are about 14

If you look closely you can see our 'xwing vs tie' lava lamp.

Now that *is* great!

What no Ewoks hiding in the branches, but I like it.

Happy holidays!

Nice tree!

Here no tree yet. Just finished celebrating Saint-Nicolas, so the kids are busy with their presents :)

Red ornaments? Someone chose the dark side. ;)

Nice tree!

Also nice LEGO sets in the background!

Maybe a bit to early, but here goes:

MERRY X-WINGMAS EVERYBODY!

Nice. I like the Death Star topper

I dunno I think the pagans would be cool with it, and I know Saturn plays x-wing.

Got our tree yesterday. Cats have been staring. And so it begins...

My daughter put up our tree today and I suddenly realised I've got a heap of Star Wars decorations in my X-wing collection. :)
