First time miniature painter

By bdiederichs, in Star Wars: Armada

Been playing around with the Star Wars Armada Game.
I've never been into table top or miniature games before but This one has been fun to pick up.
One thing that bugged me is that while the big ships come with fantastic detail and paint jobs, the fighter sets all come either flat black (bad guys) or flat white (good guys).
So because I had small paintbrush, and apparently too much time on my hands, I thought I'd try painting miniatures.
I've never tried painting miniatures, and these fighters were some of the smallest I've ever seen, But what do you think?

Not bad, very clean. Did you leave the wings on the fire spray unpainted?

Top notch work for a first timer. Those little models are fiddly!

By the time you get good at retaining detail on itty bitty models like this you'll be a pro at anything larger.

None too shabby.

Nicely done! Particulary for a first time painter!!

I am about to finish up the Hounds Tooth but the rest are just primered right now on the workbench.

Hope my Falcon and Slave 1 come out that well.

I almost want to get these now just to test myself at painting lol
